July 22nd, 2010 09:35 AM #1Guys mag nagsesell po samin ng strada 2003 A/T 4x4 fully automatic for 350k.

aircon, easily serviceable as long as you have the cash. baka nga simpleng cleaning lang ang kailangan, but then again, a car can run without an aircon so least problem mo muna ito.
2 tires kalbo, medyo tawaran mo pa siya sa asking price, medyo mahal ang series nang gulong nang Strada. let us say 4-5k each for a brand new tire.
what worries me the most is, automatic ito.. hopefully no hidden problems on it.

July 22nd, 2010 11:13 AM #3Thanks.

mileage is mileage pa rin ika nga. high mileage cars dapat must to check yung suspension nito.
for me, hanap ka pa nang ibang Strada. Medyo iwas nga pala sa D4D Toyota Hilux because of diesel issues here.

July 22nd, 2010 03:23 PM #5200k mileage? Has some more problems? Stay away from that car, in comparison our '02 Trooper has only 67k on the odo and never skipped a beat. And for that sort of money, and especially if you can stretch your budget a bit further, I'm sure there are some better deals out there...

July 24th, 2010 03:35 AM #7personally i think the price is just right, since it is 4x4. 200k mileage? nah it's nothing, sa pinsan ko hi ace nasa 900k plus na ok pa rin, nasa pag me maintain lang yan,. and dont believe the misconception na pag matic nakakatakot dahila sirain?? that is FALSE,medyo mas matakaw lang ang matic sa fuel but it is definitely meant to last for as long as 20 years or more...

August 5th, 2010 11:00 AM #8Typically Japanese diesel engines are approaching their half-life at that distance.
The fact that the tires are bald would show how much care they put into the vehicle relative to its use.
Expect to have engine and transmission problems. Check the steering and suspension as well.
It is, however, very easy to maintain a Strada.

I`d rather get a Strada with high mileage and the condition is in it's best, rather than getting the same only with lower mileage but the condition sucks.
Hindi naman sirain ang A/T. It just needs some special attention and the usual wear and tear would really occur. Ganun talaga. Maintenance, proper maintenance is always the key.

if your really decided to get it.....IMHO tawaran mo pa ng konti....pambili ng tires and for other unexpected expenditures....dahil siguradong may lalabas at lalabas na signs of wear tear at that mileage....
HTH
Very sad... horrid, even. In the news, 2 fatalities na and among them, a 5 y/o girl. It's odd...
