Check for service history, accidents as well, tsek mo bolts ng engine for posible opening then yung boot kung may sign ng acccident. Pro syempre I would suggest that you take them to a workshop for a checkup before buying.
Hello, not sure if htis is the right thread...pls forgive me im just a newbie. i also have a dilema
Here is my concern
i need your expert advice about the car (10 yrs old na) I bought recently.
Im going to TMG tomorrow for the clearance and im not sure if the car is clean and im scared to go to jail and take my car.
Do you think the car is clean if the have the following:
1. Original CR (Yellow copy under the name of a company)
2. Original OR (Registered 2006)
3. Serretarys certificate signed by Corp Sec (2006)
4. Open Deed of sale signed my the person in the Sec Certificate
5. Photocopy of ID of both Corp Sec and the person in the Deed of Sale
6. Assurance from a friend at Stradcom that the car is clean and it matches the info of the car against the plate number. The car has no alarm.
Do you think this is enough that the car is indeed clean?
1. What if the Sec Cer is fake?
2. I bought the car from an agent and we have a handwritten deed of sale
3. The fact that the original CR and the car has no alarm does this mean its clean?
PLs enlighten my on this matter because im having sleepless nights.
hi dude, sana before you purchased the car, here's my tip
1. compare the ENGINE NUMBER and CHASSIS NUMBER of your CR to your vehicle. (DO IT THREE TIMES)
2. check also the plate number
3. when you look at the TOP of your CR, there's a LTO OFFICE indicated. ex. LTO pasig, LTO Manila East, LTO San juan, etc..That is where the "birth certificate" of the motor vehicle. so go to that said offce and PROCEED to RECORDS SECTION. Give them a xerox copy of your OR and CR. they will present you ALL the documents / receipts or even HISTORY where it came from like ex. sa toyota balintawak, if it had changed engine, color or PREVIOUSLY CARNAPPED. they will tell you naman if its CLEAN But.....
OF MIND and Hassle FREE..
after the above mentioned tips, bring along a trusted mechanic to look the unit, then pa road test nyo, kung pwede dalhin mo sa gas station and pa lifter mo para makita din ng mekaniko ang pang-ilalim, 100 petot lang ata ang bayad dun
i agree with them..... if ever magdala ka ng mekaniko mo, para ma-test at makita lahat ng problems. when buying used or 2nd hand car, lagi mong hahanapin ang problema, minsan maganda lang sya sa simula. pero after a week sira na. :-)
