    Hi members, newbie here
Searching for a 7 seater suv for around 750k.

Mostly used for city rides but weekly long rides with 6 adults should be comftarble as well.

Thought about 2014 everest/2011 montero but open to any suggestion.

    Thanks

If looking to seat more than 5 adults, I suggest an Innova instead of a PPV. That is if you are OK with the looks of an Innova.

Thanks, any recommended version? Would love it to have leather sits.

Between the two, get the Montero. VGT equipped variants, preferably 2012 up since those already have cruise control, paddle shifters and ceiling mounted AC vents for 2nd and 3rd rows.

Do you need the ground clearance? If not, perhaps you'd want to consider the Carnival. Same price range, but ride comfort and space are unbeatable by any 7 seater SUV. Perfect for long distances.

Montero. Get at least the GLS-V model. The GTV adds 4x4 & more toys. If the budget can stretch a bit.

Fortuner, this is the model known for the “matagtag” ride.

Everest, is a bit old school but surprisingly good. Had a gen2 and sold it because we needed more space. Got a Starex.

Check ka nung mga ford explorer, mga 2008 sells for way less than your budget.

Meron sya nung leathers na hanap mo, seats about 7, diko lang sigurado kamusta 3rd row.

Avoid the Ford Explorer ... Consumes more fuel ... Questionable reliability ... More expensive parts ... compared to a diesel PPV or Toyota Innova ...

Mitsubishi Pajero is not good to buy used ... Too high resale value ... Same with most pickups, SUVs and diesel MPVs ... Well, basically anything that's diesel ... Add the Suzuki Jimny also ... Good value would be midsized sedans like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry ... But of course they would cost more to maintain ...

A Pajero Bk at 800T would most likely be a V6 gas variant ... Diesel ones are still 900T up ... Even at that price most are at 100T kms already ...

Get the GTV version if possible. Newer tech!

As for engine parts, no need to worry. 4D56 pa rin gamit nila until the latest montero sport.

LC80 if you don't mind the age and gas mileage. USDM such as ours sell below 1m but has the 4.0 v6 or 4.5 v6 which suffer from terrible mileage especially with the lift and all terrain tyres. The dubai version has the reliable 4hdt1 engine and itsn't that noisy and has a lot of features not found in the USDM ver. While local units cost above 1m. Parts are easy and not that expensive. JDM ver. Cost below 500k but be very cautious since its converted to LHD.

Anyways the Montero would be the best pick

You might want to look at the Isuzu Alterra owners say that its comfortable and fuel efficient. It is longest among its competitors which translates to better legroom. Ride is floaty daw like the montero.

    Happy shopping

Still its a pajero.. cars made 2005 up does not deteriorate as fast as the 90's model so at 100k kms is still good given that the car was used moderately and maintained properly.

yeah what happened during the early 2000's? 90's cars are so primitive compared to 2005 cars. but if you compare today's cars w/ 2005 cars there's very little fundamental differences
