January 8th, 2010 10:56 PM #11i own a 2006 vios 1.3E. matipid sya sa gas. kung hindi lang na ondoy eh baka magtagal pa sya sa akin. but i am thinking of selling this car too. if i am to get a second car parang gusto ko yung yaris. maliit din sya but roomy inside. yung vios kasi nasisikipan ako sa loob. parang mas maaliwalas yung loob ng yaris. i've never driven the yaris though, nakasakay lang ako a couple of times and i like it. parang ang dali iparada sa mall

go for a brand new car. less worries and will stay at your hands as long as you want it. di tulad ng 15yrs old car, it will retire soon enough.
kakaibang newbie din tong si TS, ayaw ng brand new, gusto ng luma
kung mabangga man, may pampagawa naman si mommy eh
with a brand new car, you'll only worry how to work on your driving skills and attitude. worry na ni mommy ang monthly dues eh
peace bro. nagdaan din ako diyan and sad to say,few years ago, we made the wrong decision, taking a 2nd hand 2003 ford escape. ayun nasira, nabangga, nabenta. hehehe

January 9th, 2010 09:14 AM #15Honestly, the reason din why I wanted to buy a 2nd hand car lang sana muna aside from the fear na baka mabangga ko lang agad yung bnew car is the budget din. Medyo nanghihinayang lang kase ako sa ibabayad monthly for a bnew car, sa interest pa lang talo ka na, and we have to pay for it for the next 4 or 5 years if ever. Whereas, if we are to buy that 1994 Honda ESI for let's say P150,000 - P200,000 (which is like almost the same amount we would pay for the DP for the bnew Honda City), wala ng monthly payments after, except lang for the repairs and maintenance din which we all know is costly din talaga.
Sorry kung medyo magulo ha..ganito kase yun. Instead of buying a bnew car, yung mase-save sana dun kung 2nd hand car lang bibilhin namin is ipang-business na lang, at least may income pa kame, unlike kung financing for up to 5 years, puro labas ng money mangyayari, eh we're not that super rich people naman..buying a car is not a want for us but a need lang talaga kaya we wanted to buy na din, but kung saan kame mas makaka-save at magiging mas comfortable sana (with either bnew or 2nd hand) mas okay. So that's my dilemma actually. Kung if buying a 2nd hand car would cost us more dahil masisira lang din agad eventually, di din kame nakasave diba? Or sana kung may makita kame na decent and well-maintained 2nd hand car ok na siguro kaso yun nga, di naman kame marunong tumingin and we don't know of a good mechanic din. So, mahirap talaga magdecide..hope you guys could help me on this. Thanks.

^^ If you want a cheapo brand new-vehicle. Get the suzuki alto - 300k+. Ang dali imanuever at i-park. No problem with trannies and stuff kasi M/T naman siya.
Or ... the hyundai i10 1.1 or 1.2 -> 400k+
Or ... the suzuki celerio. -> 500k+Last edited by renzo_d10; January 9th, 2010 at 10:34 AM.

May 3rd, 2010 03:33 PM #20pardon me boss, what's bad about being na ondoy ang isang sasakyan, bibigay na ba agad yung engine or other parts nun pag ganun?
sorry, newbie in the motoring world.
I think they took over Sept 2023... I remember their event presented the 296 GTB and the Purosangue...
