the 2003 lancer is the cedia model and not the pizza pie model, right? i used to have the mx with cvt. nice and spacious car. but its (front) suspension is quirky. also, the engine may be a bit thirsty.

i grew up driving a sentra. other than good memories, what else can i say? good, basic car.

my cow-sin is still driving his city type z, since new. great basic car, he says.

it's a toyota! what else can i say?

    good luck, sir.

Kung gusto yung medyo malaki laki, Sentra GX. Although from what I hear, hindi siya ganon katipid dahil mabigat na. Kung merong mahanap na GS o GSX mas maganda.

    small car, small fuel appetite.
    larger car, larger fuel appetite.
    'tis only logical.
"we can't have the best of both worlds all the time."

between the sentra and the lancer, the lancer has larger, more comfortable passenger space.
    but sentra sips less gas.
    what are your priorities, po?

with the worsening metro traffic, my mx's 6 km/li started dipping into 5.5 km/li...

I've driven a 1997 City 1.3 EXi MT. That's the pre facelift Type Z. Had it for a couple of weeks or so. I got around 9.5km/L from it. That is pure city driving with mostly short trips. I'm sure it can break 10 given better circumstances.

Of course. The Altis has an established reputation of being a reliable and economical vehicle. Ingat lang sa mga sobrang mura at baka laspag na o kaya ex-taxi. Get the 1.6MT. Just don't expect it to be as fuel efficient as a 1.3 subcompact.
