magandang alternator or separate alternator para sa batt. ng sounds mo pero itoy advaisable lang sa mlakihang set-up. kung usual set-up lang naman klangan maganda at bago batt. mo at tama ang size ng power wire mo at tama ang grounding ng ampli mo.

Performance of a subwoofer is highly dependent on enclosure rather than the driver itself.

Tono ng subwoofer? That only depends if the threadstarter's going for ported where the box maker needs to pay attention to the box design itself.

Battery doesn't need to be brand-new. Just in good condition.

You don't really need to follow recommended subwoofer enclosures because of inherent cabin gain. There's good guidelines on how to get the ideal Qtc of .707 though.

Anything that fits the budget and doesn't have a 4000W power tag attached to it. DC Audio PAI120.4s retails around 8,000php upwards nowadays I believe. We also have Sound Magnus and Firland Audio competing at a budget price tag. We also have the newly re-engineered Dominations Buddy amplifiers too at the 5k price point.

Good HU and then a set of good separates. You don't actually need an amplifier to get superb and clear sound. Nasa pag-tono rin yan.

I did this to one of my vehicles - Pioneer DVD HU and Focal Separates without amps and sub. Perfectly clear sound.

BTW, my friend who installed the gears once joined a SQ competition using his car equipped with a nice Pioneer HU and Targa separates without amps and sub - and he won in a category (I forgot what was it called).
