What amp goes good with 8" Kicker L7's or L5's??

Hello guys!!! I want to know your inputs of a good amplifier to bring out th e max. power of the Sub. : ) i was told that kicker amps should do the job but I want to know second/other opinions. : )

It dont matter what kind of amp , .... KICKER , JL AUDIO , MTX , AUDIOBAHN , PPI , LIGHTNING AUDIO etc . for a maximum potential of subwoofer , wire it with a 1 channel and proper wattage . Get a 500 - 800watt amp , should be good enough for the L7 , much more for the L5 .:wink: Goodluck .:D

I would suggest that you get a Class D amp.. the amps that i would get locally are Rockford Fosgate 500Bd and Jl audio 500/1. Around 28-32k each :roll:

would a V12 do? I'm planning to get an 8" Kicker L5 I'm gonna set it up at the back my truck.

In your opinion, what amp should I get? Kenwood In dash HU 40x4 6speakers JBL not sure with the two at the very front.

Class D amps? I've heard of it though. But I'm just going to power 8" L5's I guess that'll be my next step. Budget ko kc 10-20k :?

am not sure if the new V12's can give enough power to feed those power hungry L5's........those 8" L5's comes in how much wattage? It it is less than 500 watts..let's say 300 watts......I suggest you get the V12's and most probably bridge the amp to get a higher wattage......:D

L5's go to around 400+watts rms...L7's go 500+watts rms...hmmm...kinda hard to choose...I guess I'll stick to either JBL Rockford or Kicker subs... :bald: yung Lightning audio k lang ba ?
