this the same amp that powers my separates. had the same static problem (initially it was a popping sound) when i used my horn. brought it back to the shop and the electrician adjusted some wirings from the car horn (i was using after market car horn). i agree that no matter the amp, it really boils down to proper installation. dont take any chances, bring your car to a reputable car audio shop.

June 2nd, 2011 04:48 PM #12Same situation as mine, naka v12 ako ngayon may static at sometimes popping sound. Nagpaexchange nalang ako ng jbl na ganyan na model. Tapos pa rewire ko nalang siguro kasi yung wire ko nakatap lang sa oem wiring ng auto.

June 2nd, 2011 06:25 PM #13i don't its the amp and the wiring is the culprit so you have to second guess the quality of the service you get from that shop. I suggest you have your new system installed by a different shop
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
