How do you supply power to your 12V TV Plus units?

    1. Directly from the car's 12VDC source (ie. Accessory line, direct from the battery, etc.)?
    2. 12VDC to 220VAC power inverter then using the TV Plus' 220VAC to 12VDC power adapter?
    3. 12V-12V, DC-DC converter/regulator?

    oo nga.
but every other owner knows, there are easy ways to go around that safety feature. they do not advertise, but... the casa folks and some banawe folks know how.

It's likely a reception issue. There are many factors that can affect it but I've narrowed it down to three things...

    1. Your distance to the TV stations
    2. Antenna type, orientation and/or placement
    3. RF interference
    4. If you have metallic window tint/film

    #1, 3, and 4 are self-explanatory.

TV receivers, whether analog or digital, if properly designed for vehicles, usually have powered/amplified/boosted and/or diversity antennas. The TV Plus box can power an active antenna but it's not designed for diversity reception.

The best you can do is mount the antenna on the roof.

If your head unit is android based, you can buy the new ABS TV Plus Go dongle at P799 and a separate microusb female to USB type A male adaptor (available at Lazada). Plug it in your headunit's USB port, install TV Plus Go app from playstore. That's it. Touch control, no wiring hassle, no audio issues and no need to bypass brake wire.

    Here's the demo:

There's a ground wire connecting from the headunit to the parking brake switch (usually located at the base of the hand brake). Cut that connection in the hand brake switch then connect it directly to any of your car's ground. Bypassed!

Nakakahilo din kasi manood habang gumagalaw ang sasakyan kaya ayaw ng passengers mo.

Imo, not sulit ang tvplus sa kotse.
Madalas mapapanood mo, mga kabaduyan. Maiinis ka lang. Heheh
Mas chill magpatugtog na lang ng mga favorite songs.
