Rear windshield antenna

San ba pwede pakabit ng interior rear windshield mounted antenna for stereo? and what brand is good? kasi yung antenna ko yung sa may gilid ng trunk. hurts the car's aesthetics. hehe pwede naman siguro pa deactivate yung exterior antenna once nakabit na yung interior antenna diba?

are you looking for the wire/cable type antenna na dinidikit sa loob ng windhield ng car o yung rear mounted euro type like those found on the CRV?

You can buy it in most auto shops. Instillation is pretty straighforward. Just plug it in the back of your HU and stick the antenna to the glass.

Most shops will install it behind the interior rear view mirror. Less hassle of running the wires.

These antennaes will not deliver the same performance as your standard mast antenna. Interior antennaes can also be affected by what type of window tint you have on.

yup! i'm talking about the wire/cable type antenna and not the euro exterior type. san specifically yung ok na installer? will it significantly affect the fm reception?

We got one from Trekker along Timog - Bosche brand - ok naman so far. They will install at no additional charge.

Same thing with us - we deactivated the rear fender mounted stock one and covered the hole when we had a minor body work done later. Before that, silicon sealant lang so the rain won't get inside the trunk.

Forgot the price na - am sure below 1,000 lang.

trekker is along timog ave. located in timog arcade. katabi ito ng OTG (off the grill)

ok yung (bosch) brand internal antena matibay! kas may kamahalan nga lang, hanap ka na lang nun, kasi medyo matagal na rin yun nilabas

The Internal BOSCH ant w/c can be attached sa windshield costs 1500, it has a built in booster attached to the remote power supply nun Stereo Output mo. Tried and tested na yun. The Antenna that's built in sa Rear Wshield is not that effective, mas malinaw pa yun Pull out type w/c costs 100P mukha ka nga lang jeepney... hehehe... Got 2 cars na asa rear wshield yun ant, 1 accord and a bmw, both has poor reception khit na may built in ant boosters yun both cars...

yup, they are all correct. the bosch auto fun antenna provides good reception even for the AM band and even performs well even if you go through an underpass. we've tried another internal antenna before called zendar (or is it zender?), the damn thing was the complete opposite of the bosch antenna. i only bought it because it had a red LED that lit up on its base when the HU was turned on

Yup ZENDAR yun. i also used that b4 it woked nman sa Alpine Stereo ko back den but i'm not sure if the quality nun production b4 is same as these days. La pa din talaga tatalo sa Telescopic Antennae... hehehe... very cheap but effective... Aesthetics lang d papasa! As for the shark fin type ant of the 5series bmws la pa immitaion na true ant from taiwan, puro design lang na adhesive type, may ilaw pa! That ant also require a booster and will not work well alone. If everything doesnt' work yun antenna ni BARON sigurado yun! 500P lang! hahahahahahaha....

yup maganda talaga yung bosch autofun kasi kahit sa province malinaw pa rin reception nya, tried and tested ko na to!

saan pa pala nakakabili ng bosh autofun ngayon? balak ko sana ikabit sa isa ko pang auto

both of our cars have the bosch internal antenna which is connected sa front windshield namin..all i can say is mahina..yung isang car nga pag sa basement ka magpapark wala ng FM radio eh...pero baka luma na rin HU ko..one car's HU is a stock na kenwood and the other na palitan na ng 2nd hand na pioneer (na cassette tape pa)
