q's on the altis 2-din HU

hi a friend is selling his altis 2-din hu... fujitsu ten daw..

1. can i fit this on a 97 lancer? yeah it has a toyota logo..nakakatuwa lang kapag nasa mitsu car hehehe
2. wala naman siyang special connections, i mean parang normal hu lang ang connections niya?
3. mapili ba sa mga cd-r, pirated etc? pwede cdrw?
4. pangit ba sound nito parang marami atang nag-uupgrade?

Bili ka na lang ng 2nd hand Pioneer or Alphine HU, mas madaming features... kahit 1-Din. Its overpriced and not enough features.

but its less than 4k? a month old? dont really need fancy features maka play lang ng cassette at may cd changer...also its not for me ehehe kaya kahit walang features ok lang..go ko na to? worry ko lang talaga kung kasya..

meron bang "lalagyan ng cd" below your current radio? (not familiar kasi sa dash ng mitsu), although, sa gsr, 2 din na yung sa kaklase ko.

in this case, nasa taas yung "lalagyan ng cd".

will you upgrade your car audio in the future?pag maguupgrade ka ng car audio, look for a decent pioneer or alpine HU na second hand na lang. kung para magkatunog lang and makaplay ng cds, get it. pero kung ako, i would look elsewhere

i read kasi sa isang old thread na yung width daw mas malapad ng konti..ewan ko lang kung itong model ganun..anyway mukhang kukunin ko na.. any ideas kung magkano ang decent 1 din pioneer..kaso kailangan ko talaga in this case is cassette with cd... i was informed na it can play cd-r not rw..parang sa lumang pioneer na changer ko..sabagay mura lang cdr ehehe

but for me hidne sulit yan.. save up na lang for pionner or alpine.. it would be a lot better than stock ng altis

why not get a one din HU for the same price with more features? You might not know when your friend will need it... like installing an amplifier, or an equalizer, etc.

The fujitsu HU doesn't even have RCA pre-outs.

We're just trying to help your friend get more value for their money.

Don't worry about the fitting standard yan, pag 1-din bili ka nalang ng cd holder or a filler from audio shops.

Search kotseaudioclub.com for good 2nd hand deals. You won't regret it...

as i have suspected, the unit has dimensions of 4x8 the normal slot for the standard hu is only 7 inches in width therefore hindi siya kasya ang laki ng difference! kaya pala mura pang altis lang din siya..oh well on to the site iluvdetailing recommended..ehehe

hmmm. parang di maganda....basically, a toyota HU on a mitsu? baka mga after two weeks lang yan i-release mo na yan sa asar. hehehe.

i would agree with the posts, go for even a basic pioneer MP3 player. i think they have one now for around 4k-5k.
