so the faceplate is separated, is it really theft-deterrent? :roll:
or will it only make it harder for thieves to take it out of the car?

Unless you just left the faceplate near the rest of the head unit then it's a pretty good deterrent.
After all, ano naman gagawin nila sa HU na walang face plate? Kakahuyin for parts? Hmmm....

yup useless na. kaya ndi na nila nanakawin yun. theres no point.... wala yung faceplate e.

the faceplate acts as an electronic key... the player wont function if u insert a different face in the unit AFAIK...
Camry will be easier to maintain since FWD and comes with an NA engine. The Legacy GT is AWD and...
