Newbie Need Advice and Tips for Car Audio set up

kung pagbabasehan yung video mo sir, maayos naman yung sound. kung tamang entry level/still experimenting ka pa lang, then isang 4channel amp and 1 good sub na may magandang box nalang kailangan mo... well, it worked for me! sound quality with a twist, kumbaga.

12'' ka nalang wag na 15, masyadong malaki halos same rin ang performance pero depende parin yan sayo sir a kung trip mo talaga 15 then go suggestion ko lang to,
try mo rin hinaan ang rear fill mo kung may speakers ka sa back board mo para ok front stage hehe maganda rin siguro kung may crossover ka

Update!

nag ikot ako kanina sa audio shop dito malapit samen before ako pumasok sa school. . may nakita akong kicker and yung konzert na 12" maganda design nung kicker. . hehehe nagrarange yung woofer nila 2k-9k depende sa brand but my eyes are on the kicker tapos sa amplifier naman pioneer saka alpine lang nandun may nakita akong 1400w na 4 channel tapos 800 na 2 channel may tag 2000 saka 2500w na amli pero generic yung tatak. hehehe sabi sakin kung single sub lang ako kuha daw ako yung 2 channel lang. di ko naasikaso kasi may pasok ako bukas ng hapon baka mag iikot ako and baka mamili narin para mainstall na agad. hehehe

so ano ba dapat mga sir single 12" subwoofer with 2channel high wattage na amp o 4 channel? and alin sa dalawa bumabayo ng mas maganda sealed box o ported? dami ko tanong. . .hehe

ok yung kicker sir... yung mga entry level na kicker panalo na rin sa bayo. afaik yung konzert pang bahay ata, madalas ko kasing nakikita ginagamit sa mga videoke machines.

anyway, newbie rin ako sir pag-dating sa car audio... just started experimenting when i got my car just a couple of months ago. pero sa natutunan ko sa ibang mga forumers and katropang marunong magset-up, it depends sayo kung gusto mo mag-2 amplifiers (4-channel amp for the speakers, 2-channel amp for the subwoofer) or 1 amplifier system (speakers will be powered by channels 1 and 2, then bridged sa 3 and 4 yung subwoofer). for me, cost effective yung 1 amplifier system just as long as ibabagay mo yung specs sa mga ikakabit mong speakers.

sa pagpili naman ng amplifiers, disregard mo yung mga sinasabi nilang 2000watts, 1400watts or whatever... try asking for the amp's RMS per channel... dun mo actually malalaman kung babagay nga yung speakers/subwoofer mo sa power output ng amplifier. it doesn't matter kung generic amp basta may warranty tsaka mabigat ang heatsink.

sa box ng subwoofer, pag gusto mo ng simpleng bayo for sound quality... sealed. pag gusto mo ng gumagapang yung bass, try slot ported.

ok. salamat kasi yung kaklase ko na nakacivic gamit niya 2 12" na subs Blade (us daw niya nabili) yung tatak tapos 2 channel na 500watts na generic na amps pioneer ang HU niya ok naman yung quality at yung bayo.

ill just go the 12" kicker subwoofer then look for a 2 channel high end Amplifier a subwoofer box speakers for the door ano pa ba kulang nyan?

i just got my subs earlier 4k lang 10" na NBN... kasama na labor and wirings... bumabayo na rin....[SIZE="5"]adjustable for SQ or SPL[/SIZE] hehehe.

WoW congrats sa set mo sir SPL and SQ in one!!!

for the thread starter:
well 40k is not a bad budget, yup you can ask mikey or jeff, ok kausap yan!!!
anong car po pala?

advice ko lang be sure lang sa preference mo kung SPL talaga or SQ
you can't have this both in one car!!!! and will lessen the upgrades(gastos)
BTW: why not try the JBL GTI's they sound great think pasok sa buget mo!!! and have your door deadened(kahit 2 fronts lang)

loud and clear suggest ko lang po:
6" jbl gti seps or the sscs60 crystals seps
12" subs in ported a ported box, the 512 will do hehehe
1 4 channel amp rated (yung branded na mga 75w X 4 up sana)
wires 4ga power wires 12ga for the speakers
anl fuse

malaki na nga yung 40k sa budget eh... yan eh kung ayus na HU di ba sir?

either mickey or jeff tan you wont go wrong..

they will tell you what to do and what not to do.. give them your budget, what you want and they will lay out all the possible setups na babagay sa oto mo..

ito talaga ang pinakamagastos na upgrades/mods sa lahat eh.. di ako matutong makuntento. pag nabibitin ako gusto ko na naman mag upgrade.. kainis. hehehe

advice din po mga bossing,
naka-kenwood mp3 HU at Targa TX series seps lang po ako (180watts) sa harap.
ask ko lang kung ilang watts na amplifier ang pwede sa current set-up ko.

mga 80 to 100w rms yata ang 635's (correct me if im wrong)

well much better kung makakakuha ka ng higher rated amps like a 100 to 120w rms x 4!!!!

yes sir! post ako video sir.

yung subs 8k, seps 1600 yung ampli 3500.

tinest na kahapon astig naman pero tingnan ko performance niya sa loob ng kotse.

IMO: the higher the amp rate the max potential ng mga drivers ang maaatain mo!!!
better kung tataas ka ng mga 30 to 50w sa rated RMS ng drivers!!!
basta relax ka lang sa gain!!!

ex:seps * 100rms * 4 ohms (rms power to) 400max (eto yung maximum power na kaya nya)
