LCD TV cannot receive sound

hello mga audio/video gurus!

i got an 8" lcd tv with tuner from abroad. it receives local vhf signals (though medyo malabo at chan 7 lang malinaw) but it can only get the video. di nya makuha ang audio. static lang. i've tried changing the audio settings na nasa manual (something like 6.0, 5.5, 6.5, etc) pero wala pa rin. pano kaya maayos to? may paraan ba na pwedeng mabago yung frequency nya to receive local channels' audio?

just check the settings on your a/v unit. i had the same problem when i had my installed in banawe, i just played with all the settings and not only the audio setting, but more on the tv tuner settings. my problem before was no reception, afterwards i got reception but no audio, then after that audio but no reception or the color sucks. but all will be fine as long as you check the settings. as in all the settings.

hope maging okay. i dont have my a/v manual with me, its in the car, so I dont know exactly which setting it should be.

I see. thanks. sige, try ko uli kalikutin lahat. hopefully maayos. although pinatingin na namin sa 2 electronics shop and suggestion nila is dalhin sa quiapo or gh para ma-hack sya.

maganda naman reception.. malinaw.. but walang boses..

Pa-update na rin ako. Same problem with my TV. Malinaw yung reception pero walang audio. Sabi ng electrician posibleng sa cable daw ng antenna 'to, refuse to believe it though.

so pano ang ginawa niya bro? feeing ko ganon din yung sakin kasi sometimes radio ang nadidinig ko when i try to fix the t.v. thanks..
