Changing your factory HU is the best thing that you could do to sound quality. In my opinion kasi the innova/fortuner HU has crappy sound. Investing in a good quality HU like pioneer or alpine is a wise move. Kung may budget ka mas ok alpine but pioneer is a good second choice. Yung pioneer HU you're referring to must be the 6950 or 7950, yung 7950 may usb input na, pero may konting problem ata sa ipod because even if you change songs the first one will always be shown. Pero ok narin ang 7950 kasi you dont have to spend another fortune on those ipod adaptors for pioneer, plug and play lang. Malaki rin difference sa sound qualiy if you change the HU, next step mo is to purchase an amplifier and lastly your speakers na (that is kung hindi ka pa contented sa HU upgrade).

sa head unit ko, kesa bumili ako ng adaptor nag diy nalang ako. kasi nasa 1500 ata yun adaptor ng alpine. Don't go for the ipod radio transmitters because they suck big time, nangaling na ko dun kaya naghanap nalang ako ng way.

all you need is the ainet headunit wiring diagram eto yun,http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/atta...le-diagram.gif

tapos buksan mo lang yun adapter ng cd changer ainet mo na nakakabit sa hu, tapos tap ka lang ng 3 wiring for left, right channels and ground yun yung 4,5,6. the wire you need is the stero wire ata tawag nila nun e. 1 wire tapos may 3 wires sa loob kulay red, black, white. tapos solder mo yun kabilang dulo sa minijack. saksak mo sa ipod mo ok na. front, rear, tweeters, saka sub woofers tutunog. tunog cd pa. the mod costs less than 50 pesos.

    Question po mga tsong:

I noticed that the aux in for my 06 Civic has a different connector, parang ac adapter plug siya (male, na may maliit na pin sa gitna). Where can I find a plug to insert into this thing?

for the 2006 civic, the aux in is a 3.5mm audio jack...
same as the size with the normal earphones we use...

meron 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack(pang aux ung isa, pang ipod ung isa)
meron ding 3.5mm to i-dock connector

both are around 1.5k for the branded ones...

cheap alternative is to look for a pinout diagram of your HU on the internet and make your own rb10

how about for an ipod video? ano cheapest setup na pwede? parang balak ko, instead of buying a new HU, bili muna ko ng tv monitor. ok pa naman yung HU ko and may rb10 na ko dati pa.

^get an ipod video cable. wire the video output to the video input of the tv monitor. connect the audio cable to the aux in of your HU.

that was what i was thinking. i already have the av cable (3rca to 3.5mm) pero di gumagana pag hindi video ipplay sa ipod. and if manonood lang ng tv, walang sounds na lalabas.

what's your setup, bro? sakin kasi, i wired the ipod video cable directly to the a/v input of the tv tuner.

non-vtec: parang mali ata post ko ah. malamang hilo ako nung pinost ko yan :cheers2:. this is what i meant:
if yung rca-baby jack av cable ang gagamitin, ok to watch video, but pag makikinig lang ng music, ayaw lumabas ang sounds dun sa cable na yun. magulo talaga ako?
