June 5th, 2008 08:52 PM #1hello peeps. pahingi po ng tulong. recently, we have a newly acquired car, syempre new ang battery. Now, i got an LCD and i want to play ps3 on it. So i bought this power inverter sa ACE builders, IFONIX 200 watts 220-240 volts daw.
nung isaksak ko sya sa 12v via cigarette lighter plug, lumabas sa screen kaya lang maalon. So i though, wattage ang problema.. then i got this 600 watts naman na power inverter kapalit nung 200watts. Since mataas na ang wattage, ang supplied cable is the one with the clamps so direcho sa battery. I just tested it kanina, ayaw pa din, again, parang umaalon na tubig yung screen.
Ano kaya ang ibig sabihin nito? hindi ba kaya ng inverter? eh mataas na wattage na yun ah. Kasi... nung isaksak ko yung PS3 sa 220volts AC via an extension in our garage, ayun gumana sya. malinaw at walang alon. With the inverters ayaw gumana ng maayos.
Can anybody with knowledge in car electronics please help me? before i bring the inverter back for a refund
thank you

OT: question lang why would you want to play PS3 on your car? una maliit yun screen then it's uncomfortable, wouldn't it be more enjoyable to play it inside your bedroom?
damn MTV pimp my ride...hehehe

June 5th, 2008 09:15 PM #3PS3 kasi madami din akong movies in mkv format sa loob ng hdd that can serve as video source. Actually di lang PS3 ang problema ko, pati yung HDD player ko may alon din.
I've read somewhat na may kailangan daw i ground na cable (video cable ata)
kaya lang di ako sure kung paano

June 10th, 2008 08:20 PM #5Probably just bad grounding or the engine's static affecting the PS3. Try running it with the engine off.
Also some people have problems pag magkalapit yung power lines and rca cables. Try using cables with better sheilding.
Will try to think about it some more HTH

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
