Need advice on upgrading the sound system on the ford focus. Need suggestions on this matter

1. I want to keep the head unit. What line output converter do I need
2. No subwoofer to save space. What speakers can give very good base sounds. My music are alternative rock and some electronics..
3. Should I replace the stock tweeters?
