help choose subwoofer for JL audio 300/4.. tnx

ang medyo type ko ngayon if i were to buy now is the RE... ano po difference ng REX sa RFX
my amp has 4 channels.. but it will be a 1 amp system.. so.. 2 channels will be for seps (clif design cd50.4c) and 2 channels will be for the subs..Last edited by AC; January 2nd, 2013 at 12:29 AM.

Well, frankly all four would suit you just well because they will perform almost similarly that you'd be hard pressed to hear any audible difference. Pay more attention to the box dimensions and type.
Among all of them, RE Audio has the subwoofer name gravitas. Personally, I'd place Infinity first then the RFX, REX, and the Kicker at last. Why? I'm betting that Infinity has the best motor, basket, and magnet among them all thanks to trickle-down technologies from Harman JBL. There's a reason why JBL's GT-5 is highly recommended even at a price point of 2-3k php and has been a favorite among subwoofer DIYs -- it's cheap.. and it works! Actually, if you want to be really technical about it, I simply loved Infinity's 91db sensitivity rating. Simply wish that they report it "truthfully".
As for the difference, the RFX is more pricey, comes with a better magnet and motor basket (for the pictures anyway) and has a thicker surround. This translates into a better performance generally ;)
