How about under your seat? Will it not fit? I have seen some located inside the trunk on top of the subwoofer or besides it.

A small amp will fit under the seat but powerful ones will be too big, plus you have to consider the wiring. I would not suggest putting the amp into the sub box.

You can build a box attached to the amp rack but you do not bolt on the amp on the sub enclosure. You don’t want unnecessary vibrations from the enclosure to rattle your amp.

I also looked at the possibility of installing it on the rear seats but then there are times that I need to fold it and use the whole space.

Since the CR-V 98 has plenty of space in-between the driver and passenger seats, I contemplated on putting it there.

I ended up installing it under the driver's seat and it barely fits.

15k for a new RA50? Kunin mo na yan, bro! Very capable yung mga classic DLS amps. Kahit nga yung CA51, maganda na. Eh mid-tier yung RA50 tapos ultimate series yung A7.

Baka pre-owned yan. Yung CA51 nga nasa lampas 20k yung bago nun even mga 10 years ago. Nasa lampas 50k yung A7 eh.

Kung gusto mo maliit na space for amp, puwede ka gumamit ng Class D amps. Mas malakas output ng Class D and smaller yung frame nila compared sa Class A/B.

may idea na din ako kung paano ko imount yung amp. sa trunk na lang. floor level. tapos gawan ko ng raised platform kung saan ko pwede ipatong yung sub. may konting headroom lang sa amp para sa ventilation.

as soon as makakuha ako ng amp, proceed na ako sa install.

may gumagawa ng mga sub box na taga baguio. from the fb posts mukhang nasa level ni simplesound yung gawa pero half the price.

Ask Mickey if you can run full active with that amp without the need of a processor or external crossover. It would be bang for the buck if your amp has those features built-in.

tinanong ko na sir egan. sana mag reply kaagad. di pa ba enough yung capability ng 80prs HU sir? may mga crossover settings naman sya.


HPF sa tweeter
HPF and LPF sa woofer
