i've been going around too for a new HU. the cheapest one that i saw na branded is a sony xplod at 4200 pesos. CD lang sya, walang MP3.

for non branded units, the cheapest one i saw is a china made one (nakalimutan ko tatak) at 3k. mp3 capable na din.

proline, i think sells for 3.2k. may Aux, USB and MP3 na.

gamit ko ngayon sa tsikot ko Blaupunkt Melbourne SD. wala siyang CD player pero meron naman SD card input. Supports MP3/WMA. 3500 ang bili ko sa Sulit.com.

muka ngang 2150 yong pinost ni gerbo. that's what i have in my van. got it from banawe (autobacs name ng store; sila lang yong napansin kong me sign na authorized dealer ng pioneer) around 2 weeks ago for 5,400. 5,500 talaga, ang tagal naming nagtawaran. ayon, binawasan din!:cheer2: it's got practically everything you need to play your music library in your ride - cd/mp3, usb & aux in.

my other car's got the 3050 (oem). ok na din, though it doesn't have a usb port. basta mahalaga hindi ko naririnig yong mga dj sa radyo na daldal ng daldal imbes na magpatugtog!

Had one of these Raon-sourced brands---Proline, Audiomobile---for a while. Performance is shall we say, a lot to be desired.

pansin ko lang sa mga sony HU, kapag matagalang gamit minsan hindi na nya mabasa yung ipapasok mong cd/dvd.. pero hindi ko pa na-experience yan sa mga pioneers...

kenwood ba matibay din tulad ng pioneer? i read sa ebay na may bentang kenwood mp3 capable HU sa C3 for around 3,500php

Sa c3 banawe mura na lang ung 2150 na pioneer 4700 natwaran ko pa ng 4600 kaya lang di natuloy ilagay kasi di nila kayang paganahin pati ung LCD ng car ko...sayang...meron po ba kayong alam na repair shop na kayang kalikutin ang LCD sa nissan grandeur
