good day everyone, just wondering ilan kailangan na rate ng alternator if im putting in HID(siguro 6000k), SPL sound system (2 amp na jbl then 12" subs, seps, and crossover)

im plannig to put it sana pero takot ako baka hindi kayanin ng alternator ko. currently, i have a 1 amp sound setup and H4 narva super white 100/120 ata. kaya naman ng alternator ko but if i was to do the above metioned anong rating kailangan ko para hindi mabitin sa power.

Why 2 amps for 1 sub and seps?

Personally I don't think you'd need to change alternator for that (depends on your car though).

Kung takot kang madiskarga, it would be best to buy a secondary battery instead kaysa palit ng alternator.

thanks for the input batang raon

baka confusing pagpost ko... my current setup is 1 amp lang, so kaya ng alternator. ang plan ko is to upgrade my sound system to a 2 amp setup (SPL) + HID 6000k. takot lang ako na hindi kayanin ng alternator yung plan ko na setup... so kaya ng alternator basta may isa pang batt? thats good to know

Planning on using 1 amp for your sub and 1 for your seps?

Anyway, I don't think you would need another battery. I've seen setups with 3 amps on 1 battery. Also, most HID's are rated at 35w so it uses less power than ordinary headlights (usually at 60w). If there are signs na kulang ang charge (radio turns off when you turn headlights on, step on the brake etc) have your alternator checked with your suking electrician.

I have a fairly decent setup wired 1 amp sa subs and another amp sa 2 sets of seps 75x4 lots of little things like neon and strobes sa trunk, upgrade halogen lamp, and decent two tone horn additional cabin lights (maplight)

Upgrade lang ako sa battery and installed kinetik power cell as backup sa likod.. kayang kaya lahat ng load I tried cranking up my setup with all efects on di naman nag drop below 12V engine off after 20mins of playing, even the bass is thumping I observe the voltage stable naman...

Install all your gear and see first if you have problems .

Just make sure you use proper gauge wiring for all the power and grounds and that you do the BIG3 in the engine bay to maximize your current electricals .

(for all you know, you'll be fine and wouldn't have to spend anything extra )

hindi ko na tinuloy project ko for the spl set up--- ang mahal pala to upgrade. salamat po sa mga reply niyo, papagawa ko na lang yung big 3 na sinasabi nila...

sir... pinagawa niyo ba yung big 3 upgrade or DIY lang? hindi kasi ako magaling sa mga DIY and ayw ko magrisk.

any electrical shops ba kaya to?

You just need some big wires. It will cost you less than 100 pesos. Pero you can also get a grounding kit from car shops and have it installed. Sabihin mo lang yung isang wire from BATT + to ALT +. Most car accesories shops know this naman e. Siguro it will cost you 800 pesos.

What size of wire did you used in bat + to alt +? i checked the connection of may alt and i saw not so big wire. parang kasing laki lang ng standard automotive wire.

question after you made this big 3 did you noticed improvement? plan ko gawin ito kasi as of now ground to engine lang ang inilagay ko wala pa yung big 2. TIA

IMHO, your stock electrical system can definitely supply your current system. Of course, if you want to upgrade it with capacitors or the Big Three, that's perfectly ok. I suggest jumping to the Big Three instead, ground wires can only offer so much improvements.

I did the Big 3 last Holy Week, and improvements were noticeable.

from what i've been reading here, ground kits are connected from the negative pole of the battery, on the other hand, "the big three" is from the positive pole.

    look here: http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...t=15402&page=2
may photo sa may middle ng page, pinagsabay niya yung grounding kit and big 3.

tama ba ito? thanks.. i need to be enlightened.

Go ahead....load it up, walang problema diyan. But, if you go higher or add more AUDIO BLING BLING need to upgrade your Alt. should I say, 95 ampere.

You can complete the package and go with an Optima Deep Cycle battery (yellow top) for all your electronic needs.
