audio set-up for beginners [continued]

I once put my ear to those holes in the door sa LC120... parang walang sound or vibration na lumalabas.

So yun, parang yan yung plan ko hehehe. Based on checking with some local shops, bumbay unit ata yung mga Z5050BT na tig 25k. The ones with the local pioneer warranty are 35k, with the DDX917 at 40k. At that price, sa DDX917 na rin talaga bagsak ko hehe.

Baka may provision for tweeters yung LC120 but hindi nilagyan/defective na boss.

i just recently upgraded my audio setup
from JBL gto509c seps ,Pioneer 295bt and no amplifier

i got focal ps165f for seps
hertz hcp 4 amplifier
retained my pioneer 295bt

the issue is, i hear pops from time to time
the gain on my amp is at 11 oclock
and my stereo is only at 50%

galing sa old setup ko, i never experienced this
although nagimprove yung quality ng highs
medyo nakukulangan ako sa bass din

really a noob and im trying to really read up on these matters
pero malaking tulong ang opinion ninyo

pops meaning some sort of distortion that seems to be coming from speakers being overdriven? probably you could upload a youtube video so the masters here can check.

i will try my best with the video sir since its really erratic ill do my best
and the pop im describing is like a really harsh snare-like sound
its frustrating

Masyado mataas gain boss. Lower the dial and check wiring properly baka loose yung ground sa amplifier

Try to check your wiring connections or the terminations on your cable wires specially on the amps. Isang cause ng popping of speakers ay di magandang connection. Natatandaan ko yan na sound nung highschool kami sa diy project namin na amplifier/booster. Very crude ang pagkagawa at naka mount lang sa parang aluminum C-purlins. Parati ko naririnig yung pop pag switch on ko ng toggle switch.

For gain settings I suggest the digital multi-meter method for accurate settings.
