thanks again jhnkvn. i am learning a lot from you bro. if i am to purchase class d mono amp, will this replace my existing kd80.4 amp? or the mono amp for my sub and my kd80.4 for my seps?

It will not replace it but augment your lineup: Mono amp on the subwoofer then KD80.4 on the separates. For the more advanced users, it allows for a full-active configuration (1 driver = 1 channel), but for the newbies, just bridge the 4-channel amplifier. So suddenly you have a 160Wx2 on your speakers instead of 80W. That should solve your "power" problem.
