havent audition any slim type subs yet pero sabi nung iba, not the same boom boom power pero it does the job for SQ.

typical is 10" slim type... kung kasya sa lalagyan yung enclosure and sub then ok yun.

ported -- deep bass excellent for hip hop/rap tracks

    sealed -- for SQ.

for me ok yung sealed kung space deprived yung oto... i like ported once pero naisip ko na paano kung palit gulong??? pahirapan... kaya sealed gamit ko.

yung subs under the seats... hindi ko pa nasubukan mapakinggan yung ganon... medyo pricey for pips like me that are budgeted.

    to answer you, we need:
    1. your budget
    2. what do you like sound quality (SQ) or boom boom (spl) or combination (sql)

In general, you start with a good head unit (HU). Pioneer is a good brand and bang for the buck. I'd spend most of the money on good speakers, seps and subs. Remember this is the only thing that you actually hear. Brand will depend on your budget and preference. Amps are essential if you want to get the most out of the system.

For setups, dont skimp on the install. Quality is 50% equipment and 50% install. Always listen or audition other systems before you buy. This way you know what you are looking for.
