    Material to use: 3/4" MDF

Box size: Refer to the manual of your Kicker Sub.

hmmm... for sq it's advisable you go sealed. some systems go ported but it would depend on the sub. Though IMHO sealed is the typical enclosure for SQ systems. Ported is typically for SPL systems. oh yeah, if ur going to use a 15" sub masasayangan ka. because in an sq system there is minimal play of the sub. people lessen the sub gain so that you can hear more of the kalansing ikanga ng mga tweeters and the mild thump of ur mid bass.

for sq...sealed box is always preferred.

iagree with mon...ported is recommended more for spl because you can tune the box and the port to a specific frequency...blah blah blah....

You're right, 3/4" is the thickness. Mond and Glenn are also right, that in most SQ systems, sealed enclosure is the preferred baffle design. Simply because it can play a broader range of frequencies as compared to ported and bandpass enclosures, and usually it has a "flat-er" frequency response than the latter two.

anton, no apologies needed buddy. a tip, minimal power lang bigay mo sa sub para di malunod ang mga seps mo. mdf ang gamitin mo. dimensions, maybe u can try going to the kicker site and ask them for the specs. they would be the best place to go for your inquiry about the box

    Anton,

The dimensions will depend on the size you can accomodate in your trunk. The important thing you have to consider is the internal volume of the box required by your sub. Once you have that, the box dimensions will follow. Kicker has downloadable tech manuals at their website that can help you with sealed boxes - min/max recommended internal volumes fo your specific sub.

    Goodluck :D:D:D

ayt man just checkd the site... for a 15 in rounded sub they said...

    mounting depth is 7.5 inches
    mounting hole diameter: 13.75 inches
minimum rec sealed box volume: 1.8 cu ft
maximum rec sealed box volume: 5.2 cu ft

nw if sum1 cn tell me what's the best length, width, and depth of the box itself for an ae 101 corolla... then i can start building....
    m so excited

You can do the measuring yourself or ask your karpinteros to do it for you. Probably, what you need to know 1st is the height and length of the box that will fit your trunk. Then play around with the software to get the width ( or depth of the box. must be deeper than the mounting depth of the sub ) Get it?
