Ive been raving about Joying since last year. Their units rock talaga.

Hindi nakakasilaw. You can set brightness level for daytime and nighttime separately. For daytime, mine is set to 50% and for nighttime, 0%.
You can set nighttime mode to activate by clock or by lighting switch. Mine is set by lighting switch.
You can also set the screen to go black automatically just like any Android phone or tablet.

I bought the same model (JY-UL135N2) last January via aliexpress. All I paid was 269 (via paymaya) with free shipping and no tax. Joying declared the value of the joying radio as 80 dollars. It was delivered door to door via DHL in 9 days. I installed it myself. So far so good.
If I have a budget of P40k for my head unit, what is the best available android head unit that I can buy for my Starex 2012? (2Din)
I initially planned on getting the Pioneer avh-8850bt but im thinking if i should just get an android head unit.
I've read that joying is good pero wala daw silang provision for external screen? (for 2nd row / 3rd row monitors).
Ilan din pala ang video/audio input nila? I plan to install a TV-plus (1st input) as well as a magic sing karaoke (2nd input). Does an android Head unit have at least 2x inputs?
Thanks!
If you have 40k budget, might as well get a 10" Android head unit. Price around P28k. Remaining budget goes to other upgrades.

I just bought myself a Joying 2DIN head unit, 10.1" 2GB from Ali. I'm looking for a reputable car audio shop in either Makati or Taguig who can install this for me on my 2016 Everest.
Can anyone recommend a place please! Thanks!
Just wondering. Titanium unit mo or Trend? Kasi I think kapag Titanium, ang daming features na di na gagana?

Got my basically generic unit from someone advertising in Facebook. It's a 9" touchscreen Android Lollipop unit specifically for Toyota Altis 10/10.5 Gen. Got it for 23k including installation and the additional TV Plus unit. My only 2 complaints are the 1GB ROM and the slightly cool screen which I feel is a little dim also. Brightness I can set for daytime and nightime, but since the Anti-Distracted Driving law came into effect I had to actually dim the screen so the flickering LCD light will not show on MMDA's CCTV's. Hehe. That took care of my complaint no. 2. For no. 1, of course the effect is the slowdown when installing several apps. I previously installed Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube but had to uninstall also because notifications keep popping up which freezes whichever navigation app I'm using. I have currently Osmand, Google Map, Sygic and Waze as the installed apps. I still prefer Osmand more than all the others. Unit has a USB input too, but I just use that to copy multimedia contents to the built-in 16GB storage and it's much faster that way.
Upgrading the OS of my Joying from Android Lollipop (5.0) to Marshmallow (6.01). Relativelly painless. Did this on my other unit already. Just insert USB with the new firmware and everything else is automatic. No buttons to press.
