the sub has 4 terminals.does it mean its equivalent to 2 subs? dual impedance? does it really mean its equivalent to 2 subs? will the amp be able to power this single sub?

Dual Impedance = Dual Voice Coil

It doesn't mean that it is equivalent to two subs. For a single sub to sound like 2 subs, it must be able to push twice as much air. Therefore look into displacement, power and Xmax if you want to see if a certain sub will sound twice as loud as another sub.

To know if your amp will handle this sub, check the impedance of the voicecoils and make sure when wired, the final load matches the minimum bridged impedance of the amp.

The manufacturer provides the impedance of its subwoofer or amplifier.

Check the spec if the sub is dual 8ohms, dual 4ohms or dual 2ohms.

As for the amp, check if it is bridgable and up to what load(e.g. 8ohms mono, 4ohms mono, 2 ohms mono)
