Typical oil change for an E90 will cost you around 6-7K (parts and labor)
Not bad given you're putting fully synthetic oil in your engine.

Guys I recently bought a 2nd hand 2004 318i msport. I noticed there are oil marks around the engine block... how much would it cost for me to get this checked and fixed and what are the probable causes?

i'm planning to bring this to the casa tomorrow morning

The casa would be the last place I'd bring an out of warranty Bimmer for diagnosis. I'd rather bring it to Euro cars specialist like ARC automotive in Makati, German Motors in Libis or Frau in San Juan. I'm sure these places could fix your Bimmer for WAAAY below what the casa would charge you.

ARC and Frau both have their own websites. Get their numbers and try to book an appointment before going there. They are very busy most of the time.

In the south side of metro manila, there is "de Best" in westgate filinvest. In front of KIA alabang.

I would recommend ARC for all your servicing needs. The place is neat and the people there are hands-on with your bimmer. Here is their website if you would like to view the shop and the list of services that they perform. HTH

where did you bring it? hmm what I remember about the parts the valvecover around 2k, gasket flange 500 solenoid o rings I think 600+ if I remember it. oil filter housing gasket x2 around 400, air filter I know is 1700. Don't know about parts and diagnosis. Where did you get the parts? I get the parts from Bimparts But the solenoid o ring I get in the CASA since its cheaper than the others plus is Genuine OEM. Siguro plus labor ang change oil its about right.

Had the water pump, radiator hoses, tensioner, timing belt, fan belts and thermostat replaced recently on my E34, parts including the coolant cost me about 10K only, plus P 1500 for the mechanic that assisted me

But i also tried shops outside. Once sa autosport for the replacement of the condenser and evaporator 70k+, still cheaper vs casa. Once also in german for the replacement of the trunk button/housing di ko alam wat its called, they only charged 2400. I think german is less expensiv than others. Il find out in a couple of months wen my car is due for maintenance
