I don't like the X1. I've seen it and sit on it for awhile but its not for me.
The engine is the same with the 320d, it is the 2.0 diesel engine with same 177hp. I'd prefer to have that engine on the sedan. The X1 styling is like the X3, only smaller. I've seen it on the road and it feels like weird so i stick with the 3 series.

ah ok tama nga sayo yan dahil sa daan nyo dyan kawawa ang sedan. sobrang traffic pala siguro dyan kung 11.5km/L FC mo. since my xdrive yan medyo mabagal yan compare sa 320d although the same engine. ang sasakyan depende talaga sa purpose mo, so fit lang sa purpose ang mga sasakyan natin hehehe.

but i like SUV too although sa ngayon i have 2 sedans. next time X5 siguro para malaki - will serve my purpose better.

mybmw, dito ko na post kasi ot na sa kabilang thread, sa akin naman 3.85 daw initial price nila kaya bumaba price to 3.5+ dahil sa promo. kaya 200k nalang daw discount, nasa 300 plus kms palang tinakbo ng x1. maybe hindi pa break in kaya nasa 11.5kms/liter pa siya, pero for me ok na fc na yan,

similar daw ang chassis ng 3 series touring sa x1. i dunno ano difference niya sa regular 3 series.

ito pa ang tsismis saakin nung taga prestige, wala na daw ilalabas na 2.0 sa x1, last unit na daw yung amin, next shipment daw ay 1.8 diesel version na tapos same price pa. kaya if ever yung 3 series nalang at yung bagong x3 ang 2.0.

i see. sa akin tinakbo ko na agad sa Subic at pa balik balik sa Tagaytay para ma break-in. ngayon tapos na break-in period ko nasa 3,000 km na ako hehe.

i doubt if the new x1 will be 1.8 nalang, usually it is 2.0d talaga. maraming pinagamitan ang 2.0d alam mo na siguro yan - x1, x3, 3 series, 5 series, etc. successful engine nila yon kaya bakit i-discontinue nila sa x1. anyway they have their reasons if ever na ganun.

no point discussing about the price pero when i bought mine may nakita akong x1 na kulay talong (yon ata sa inyo ah hehe). i ask my guy kung magkano he told me "sir bigay ko sayo 3.1M cash" that time i decided na 3 series na talaga. sabi nya pag 2nd unit mo na BMW mas malaki pa discount. baka ganun siguro ang mini-mean nya sa akin for the 3.1M flat. anyways past is past kaya enjoy nalang tayo sa bimmer natin haha.

oo nga masama ang review ng X6 at personally naniniwala ako don. ang X6 around 6M yan pero after ilang years lang may nakita ako for sale 4M tapos binaba sa 2M. isip ko na Ondoy ata tong car na to. pero naisip ko rin baka walang bumili kasi nga nakapanood din sa review ng top gear hehehe

I wonder bakit pangit ang review ng x6 considering halos kamabal sila ng x5, difference is likod lang, maybe hindi practical sa space, aside from that x5 narin siya, very sporty kasi ang looks ng x6. gusto ko siya.

tinawagan na pala ako ng SA ko kanina, sa monday darating na yung in dash navigation ko na freebie, and nandiyan na raw plates ko. ang bilis din nakuha kasi yung tucson namin nauna pa, wala parin plaka.

i have never bought a car based on magazine or show reviews. although top gear is very entertaining to watch, most of the time they are biased with english cars. that's why i don't base car reviews on just one show or one magazine, what i usually do is read a lot about a certain car and join forums to ask owners for feedback about their cars. just because jeremy clarkson said it was bad, it doesn't mean the car really is bad. we've owned an rr sport which jeremy clarkson loved, and now an x5m which he hated, and guess what the rr sport was not even close to how well made the x5m is.


i love the x6, and so far on the bimmer forums wala naman problema ang x6. the only reason why we bought an x5m over the x6m because of the space, but if we didn't need the space no doubt x6m na ang kunin ko.

Clarkson's reviews are pure entertainment... period. Some of the things he says on the show are cringeworthy.

The X6 is a wonderful car. Good oomph, good quality, terrific to drive. Many reviewers pooh-pooh it because it's a four-seater, not a five-seater or a seven-seater and because it's not quite as agile as a real sports car.

So what? It's more fun to drive than any other SUV, it's got good height, good fuel economy with the 3 liter diesel, and it's handsome and unique. Many of the better reviewers have positive things to say about the X6, even if many of them aren't convinced about its utility... but that's not the point of the car. It's a vehicle you buy to have fun with... period.

how do you mount your in-dash navigation? doesnt the non i-drive X1 have a lid/cover in place of the monitor? post pics!

bruno, tatanggalin daw yung glove box, lalagyan ng dash kit then screen. yan ang sabi saakin kaya daw natagalan kasi galing germany daw. mukhang idrive screen daw na touch screen. pero walang knob ala idrive. they only showed me the unit na naka mount lang on top of the dash, na hindi ko nagustuhan, il post pics after install, im kinda worried baka magkaroon ng rattle yung dash pag install nila,

sabi din ng dealer magiging mp3 player na screen daw siya and kung may tumatawag sa phone, connected daw kasi siya sa radio din. im not sure kung pwede rin siya maging back up camera,, kung meron papa abangan ko na ng wires . ang liit kasi ng display ng radio parang calculator display. i hope maging maganda nstall

i agree with that bro. anyway ask ko lang, kasi when our x5m reached 1,600miles i went to the dealer for 1st pms and they said that the x5m's 1st pms is not until 15,000 miles. i did some research and it was true, question ko lang is ano pa ibang bmw ang 15,000miles din ang first pms?
