Alam ko meron nito sa TYT pero dito na lang natin pagusapan about our Avanza FC. Sir Pres pa merge na lang kung meron na dito sa APC thread natin.

Previous:
Gas = Unleaded (shell, petron or caltex)
Ave FC = 9.5km/L (nasa 80% city driving, bihira out of town trips)

Latest:
Gas = Shell e10 (2 pesos difference sa normal unleaded)
Ave FC = 10.02km/L (medyo nag-improve, same trip pa rin)

Current:
Gas = Petron e10 (mas mura sa Shell e10 ng .20 cents and 95RON sya)
Ave FC = TBD

last july 11, 2008 nagfull tank ako 298 km ang odo at 26.85 ang kinarga ko so mga 11 km./liter ang fc ng avanza 1.3 j using petron xcs. mostly hi-way driving ako.

but last feb 2008, nag full tank ako 347 km ang odo 347 km. at nagkarga ako 23.9 so mga 14.5 km./ liter ang avanza 1.3 j using shell v-power. mostly hi-way driving at slex with 7 passengers sa umaga at 4 sa gabi. car pool kami ng mga taga binan.

kainggit naman kayo.. ako don sa G a/t ko.. pure city driving.. nag 8 to 8.5kms per liter lang.. minsan pag madami pang idling time w/ aircon on eh nag 7+kms/liter lang..

pero pag nag out of town.. nakaka 11 to 12kms /liter naman ako..

Dapat today mag gas ako para makita ko ang FC ko for the week.

Basically I made a self imposed speed limit of 80Km. Pag makinis ang daan, I can go as high as 100 Kph.

I shift up at 2,000 RPM, hinay-hinay lang sa acceleration.

How's the traffic situation during these runs, Pres? Light, heavy, moderate? Average Speed (or start and end times of each trip/per day) and Total Distance per day?

Maybe ratio of highway to city for every run (or at least average ratio)?

Notmal route ko kasi ay bahay -> SLEX - > C5 -> Ortigas. Baliktad lang pauwi.

Week ends, sometimes house lang, some times malling with the family.

Mahirap ma classify ang ratio ng City and Hi-way kasi kung minsan, mas malala pa ang Hi-way (SLEX, and C5) kaysa sa city driving.

kumg minsan iyong last 1 km before ng office ay tumatagal ako ng more than 45 mins, pero mula sa bahay to that point (40+ Km) including the traffic takes me about 45 mins.

Kaya for me, para makita talaga ang FC ay ma average ang ilan weeks of data para mas accurate. This is to compensate iyong times na medyo maluwag at times na super grabe.

Some times nakukuha ko ang trip ko ng mga 1 hr 30 mins. some times 2 hrs 30 mins. worst was > 3 hours. same route ito ha. Best was slightly more than an hour. Average ko tala is about 2 hours.

Ang only measureable ay ang personal speed limit ko na 80 Km per hour at shifting point of 2,000 RPM. dati kasi some times I shift at 4,500 RPM.

Last week, thursday and every thursday there after, susunduin ko si Mrs sa Ateneo malapit sa rockwel power plant mall. This means na EDSA ang daan ko.

BTW, naka car pooling ako, so every Tue and Fri. Naka garahe si Vanzy. Jazz ng boss ko ang dala namin.
