Sa akin kasi na side swipe ng motor(hit and run) pero 1k lang ang estimate, kay diko na muna tinuloy...

Better share your own insurance coverage and premium, and where you got it. At least back up your sweeping statement in pt. 3. Don't stop short of pointing us to the best deal, if you are that well-informed.

The insurance industry is a regulated industry.
Everybody is selling the same product financial protection.
On point 3, why limit their liability to 100k? Who are they protecting you or them?
You can get the best deal by demanding the best deal from your present insurer
or any insurer licensed to operate by the Insurance Commission.

Always try to get the highest liability cover.

The coverage/premium for own damage / theft + AOG are pretty good if not better than other quotes I got. Besides, "in-house" for one casa can be considered "outside" for another casa. The important thing is to get the best quote from several companies. No need to generalize just to sound rhetorical.

ayaw kasi nila pa sabihin kung ano ano ung covered nung insurance, sabi nila pag nakuha na raw auto tska raw nila eexplain ung sa insurance.

Update on my Ondoyed Avanza:

After makabit ang mga relay & compressor, fuel pump naman ang bumigay. Sa kasamaang palad, wala sa planta ng part na ito. August 4, na-approve ng insurance, 45 working days ang waiting period. October 1, anniversary ng car ko sa Toyota Ortigas.
