dalawa ang paint protection ng carsavers (www.carsavers.com)
1) ZeeGlaze Paint Protection
2) Diamond Gloss
For ZeeGlaze Paint Protection, we have it applied sa 2000 Revo ni erpats, nasa 4K initial application last YR2000 and 2K ang yearly maintenance.
My verdict: makintab sya talaga after mo kunin sa carsavers, pero yung kintab/wax tanggal in less than 1 month, wala ako makitang protection sa product na ito hehe, hindi rin kasi ako gamit nitong revo at pinapa-carwash ng mga utol ko minsan. Dont take this ZeeGlaze protection!!!
-----------------
For Diamond Gloss, I have it applied on my own 2003 Revo, initial application is 5.2K(less na 25% disc), yearly maintenance is 3.1K, mid-year is 1.5K
My Verdict: The gloss/sealant really protects my car from acid rain, lumabas lang watermarks after 2months, nakabilad lagi sa araw, ambon, dust ito nung April and May2004 and nakapark ng straight 4 days without carwash sa open parking. Dito ko nakita na nagwo-work talaga ang Diamond Gloss when it comes to paint protection. You just have to wash it with water only and microfiber cloth. No carwash sa labas.
Then, I had my annual Diamond Gloss last March2005 at carsavers makati.
1) Don't use chamois
2) Huwag ipa-carwash, do-it yourself talaga, tanggal ang Diamond Gloss sa carwash eh, tapang kasi ng shampoo nila
3) Use a micro-fiber towel/cloth (JML or Microtek) to clean the body lalo na sa hood
4) Huwag madiin ang pag-linis, kunwari "baby" ang nililinis ninyo
5) Use a separate rag/planela for the lower part of the body para tanggalin ang putik at dumi
6) Plain water linis lang, don't use car soap, pag may watermark lang
7) Use a micro-fiber cloth to dry the car, DO NOT USE CHAMOIS
nasa 4,500 ang Bigberts Paint Protection with free quarterly maintenance and 1 detailingLast edited by revoGSX; July 26th, 2005 at 05:08 PM.

April 29th, 2005 11:18 AM #23*revoGSX,
i got the diamong gloss too, and it was only good for 1 month. after that puro swirl marks na. very unprofessional din ang services sa carsaver's UN ave. para kang ngpagawa sa cheap na talyer. yung supposedly "diamond gloss formula" daw, nakalagay sa bote ng red bull!
malaki daw kasi yung container nasa stock room.
it was a total waste of time and money. to think that they give a one year warranty on gloss. now i have to get it waxed and restore the shine.

kikintab naman talaga oto mo pag bagong wax. Any wax for that matter. Pa detail niyo sa bigberts, then wax monthly for your maintenance, malaki ang matitipid niyo at may exercise pa kayo

make sure to use car shampoos.. this has the right PH level and adds enough lubrication when cleaning.
baka ginagamit Joy / dish washing / household cleaners / sabong panlaba.. that will certainly strip off the sealant that was used on the car.Last edited by chain; July 21st, 2005 at 05:07 PM.

How about those car wash station that uses foam wash? Matapang din ba?
What is wrong with Chamois? Paborito ko pa naman gamitin yun ng maid to clean and dry the car every morning.

chamois (especially the cheap rubbery ones) tend to be grabby and if not properly used, can cause marring on your paint. marring is considerably lessened if MicroFiber towels are used.
there are techniques that can be employed in washing and drying your car faster with lesser risk of marring. see PAD and the detailing thread. I believe there are some posts there that outline techniques such as:
1. water sheeting
2. correct usage
3. appropriate materials (wash mitt, etc.)
