The reality is, if it's a daily driver, kahit anong ingat mo kung yung kasama mo sa kalsada (o parking) walang pakialam, it just adds to frustration and more expense if you see scuffs, blemishes or scratches to an otherwise perfect paintwork.

You forgot to mention the occasional stone chip/pebble na "UFO" (yun ba tipong ewan mo kung saan galing )

Usual culprit is tumalsik from somebody's tire, etc. pero minsan, solo ka sa daan and you hear yung "Ka-tick!" na nag-ricochet sa kotse mo out of nowhere...

Same here, I've long accepted that swirls, scratches, and dings are normal for a daily-driven high-mileage car.

Unless your car has terribly neglected paint, noone will really notice the difference.
