    Mga GURU,

    Need Help lng po, ano po pa ang reason kung bkit nag ka ganito paint ko sa hood???!! Color black yung ride ko. 2003 mdl plang... regular maintenance din po sya sa paint cleaning...

    Could you post a pic of your hood? This way we could provide you detailed information on what you can do.

    the cracks are because of the heat from the engine. The permanent solution would be to repaint the hood and install a heat insulator under the hood to prevent heat cracking the paint again.

    may insulator po sya,... I'll try to post pics for better illustration.. can it be break fluid? actually, small portion plang sya ang worry ko lng bka mag tuloy tuloy...

    alligatoring yata ang tawag dyan. polyurethane (anzahl) ba car paint mo? may tendency na mag crack pag lagi naiinitan under the sun and from inside the engine (kung wala na yung insulator ng hood mo). kung acrylic ang paint mo, baka mahabol pa ng rubbing compound. pero kung malala na, repaint na lang solusyon dyan.

    can you give us more details on whether your car has been repainted or not? if so what paint was used? and ofcourse some pics of the affected area so that we may be able to diagnose the problem.

    sir factory paint pa din no repaint or what so ever... alaga din sa polish and sealant courtesy of Big Bert's ... nakita ko lng saya last tuesday... maliit plng sya. I try to have a pics di kita eh kc sobra liit plang pero i'm worry na bka tumuloy tuloy.

    Oh BTW looks like you'll have no choice but to have it repainted, unless you can live with this eyesore.

    usually it takes 2k give or take to have the hood repainted.

    baka birp poop or tree sap na natuyo na... maybe clearcoat failure due to the acidic bird poop...
