Anyone out there using ROTA Destiny size 17's? Kamusta yung mags? Madali bang mabingkong o mayupi kung na-pothole? Or magasgas pag nag-parallel park? Will be using 50 series tires.

i think kahit anong mags magagasgas pag sumabit ka sa gutter... rota is tried and tested, and the models distributed here are built for phillipine roads![]()
i do. all i can say is take care of it nalang. lahat naman ata ng mags with the right kind of force will get damaged e. weekly maintenance using mother's Wheel Mist All Wheel Cleaner will always keep it looking shiny and bnew!Originally Posted by ramibel
Salamat sa mga nag-reply. By the way, mayroon bang may alam kung saan makakakuha ng center cap na may Honda logo na pwede ipalit dun sa Rota na center cap?
i think most wheel and tire shops can provide you one. just mention it to them that you'd rather have the [H] logo instead of the rota one![]()
korekek!! had mine replaced with a nissan badge when i bought the rims.Originally Posted by ssaloon

yup 225/45 tires usually range from 6-10k sa banawe, depende na sa brand mo. like yokohama is mga 8k+ dun sa shop were i bought my rims.Originally Posted by aLVin
kung second hand naman, you really have to check kung may mga tama na siya or kung oblong na.
...mahal na pala ng 17s rota ngayon. when i bought mine 4 years ago, nasa mga 15k pa yan.
I agree with ssaloon, kahit anong rims kapag sumabit sa curb/gutter, gasgas yan.Originally Posted by ramibel
pareho lang pala price ng Rota sa Pinas saka dito sa US.
why not use a tire with rim protector?

what about the price difference of those with rim protector against those without?Originally Posted by Karding

Pero dont look at it that way. Dahil kapag nag upgrade ka ng aftermarket wheels, usually HIGH or ULTRA HIGH performance ang ilalagay. So, you can only compare it with competitor's price.
Most tires with rim protector are the ULTRA HIGH or HIGH Performance models. So when you pay a higher price, the rim protector is just an additional feature because you are actually paying for the overall features of HIGH or ULTRA HIGH performance tires.
Eto, the price difference is not much considering 'plus sizing' na ang 17's sa example ko.
example of 205/40-17 ULTRA HIGH Performance, all features a rim protector:
BF Goodrich g-Force Sport: 77.00
Dunlop SP Sport FM901: 78.00
Kumho ECSTA SPT: $63.00
Yokohama Parada Spec-2: $85.00
Sumitomo HTR Z II: $59.00
kimpOy, Rota Spider 10 yata yan sabi ni silhouette.
