mga two weeks. mag polish pa ulit and degrimming hindi satisfied ang mommy ko sa kintab, hehehe. just be specific sa gusto niyo po walang problema sakanya. pati rims siya na nag pintura puro gasgas nadin kase yun dati. dagdag lang konte para sa wheels.

ano po nangyari why hindi satisfied mama mo sa kintab? teka dalawa ba kayo gumagamit ng account na "shay"? medyo nalilito ako eh

hehe gusto niya kase mirror finish talaga. satisfied na ko with the wetlook, but then she wants to have it polished again to make it shinier.

hehehe, ako pareho yun. yung isang post ko kase, that was prior to having my car painted kaya ako nag tatanong ng feedbacks.

i thought of getting a paint job pero nabanga ako kaya para wag na lang muna... buti na lang may insurance. hehehe.

parang may masamang balak yung aso ah....plano yatang ihian yung auto :bwahaha:

if the car is not showing any rust, or the factory coat is not failing, it isn't necessary to strip to metal.

mas delikado pa nga ang strip to metal because it's much harder to prep the car for painting in those cases. kung structurally sound pa naman yung factory job, it will act as a sealer and a foundation for the new job to adhere to.

these are clustered cracks. about 1 sq ft area of cracks in several areas. hindi ba delikado kung washover lang?

depende yan sir. pag dun lang yung crack sa pinatong nila na na bagong paint, pwede pa hilain yan. pero kung sagad na sa body ng car obligado scrape.

can you describe what the "fine cracks" look like?

if it's severe swirling, weathering or scratches, then di siguro kailangan nga strip to metal yan. actually baka pede na makuha sa detailing. does the paint feel rough, or the color is severely fading, or it looks like someone scratched it with sandpaper? you may try getting it detailed, and if it improves with detailing, worst case scenario makukuha na yan sa washover.

however, if the cracking looks like fine spiderwebs or crack patterns beneath the clear coat, that is a sign of clear coat failure. worse, if the paint is cracking and peeling off in chunks or flakes (yung tipong kita na yung primer or bare metal sa ilalim), then all that paint needs to be stripped off and the whole car repainted. otherwise, the failure of the coat beneath will eventually destroy the freshly-painted coat.

spiderwebs... though the paint isn't flaking off yet. area is bigger than i estimated. failure of a new coat is my big issue.
