nasagot din tanong ko! salamat po! super alikabok kasi dito sa bukid namin and i've read sa ibang threads na dry wiping is a big no-no. i'll buy a duster mamya. kaso yung nakita ko na car duster dito is not "california", nakasulat dun is microfiber duster. ok na kaya yun? i think its from china.

another thing, how do you know na may parafin wax yung duster?

^^microfiber.. baka di ganun ka effective. i can only speak for the cali car duster kasi yun ang nagamit ko. malalaman mo kasi pag bago sya, mejo moist pa sya at pag hinawakan mo yung strands nag l-leave ng residue sa kamay mo.. that's why the instructions say to let it air out for i think 2 days..

Question lang ulit sir, san ba makakabili nito? How much? meron ba sa concorde?
    Thanks.

^^wala nyan sa concorde.. sa Hans Shangrila or sa accredited shops ng Mother's (pwede mo i PM is MOMSPH)..
1K to 1.5K. mejo mahal sya pero worth it, years mo gagamitin. kahat dumumi ng todo ok parin.. detailers also use this product. its cheap considering ang tagal mo sya gagamitin..

edit: check other Car Finder or other boards like HCP, MyMitsu, etc.. may mga sellers nyan at a cheaper price..

    spongee,

I don't mean to be rude, but as far as that "car-shampoo-will-fade-your-paint" thingy mentioned by your friend, its pure B-A-L-O-N-E-Y

may chemicals nga ang car shampoo. but in right formulation. and kaya may "rinsing part" e. siyempre you will not let the car shampoo dries up on your paint so, kasama ng dirt yung car shampoo sa drain. parang pag nagto-toothbrush ka. idudura mo rin naman yung toothpaste (na kasama ng germs) after.

The "chemical" statement is quite silly actually, H2O itself is a chemical.

ganito kasi ang washmitt. yung binili mo if im correct is a microfiber towel / chamois / something na 3 in 1 combo pack. which is actually good too, maganda naman yung microtex na brand.

you can just use the microfiber towel to scrub the car with, just try not to let small stones/sand stay in it while you scrub the car, kasi yun ung gagasgas sa paint mo.

if you can, kung malakas ang water pressure nyo sa bahay. try to blast and rinse the dirt / mud of your car before you scrub it with shampoo.

hmmm. mukang nagtaas na sila.. just take note na there are two basic types. plastic handle (cheaper) and wooden (more expensive but i think there are more fibers). either way if you are the type na hindi mapakali pag may alikabok yun kotse and you resort to washing the car as much as possible, sulit na sulit ang cali car duster as an alternative to washing.

it takes me 15 minutes at the most to dust the car..
