November 18th, 2004 11:12 AM #64theveed, need your advise. EXCALIBUR wax was applied to a black color car. usually, you apply wax and let it dry to a haze, right? well, not on this wax. nung i buff na hindi na maalis yung swirl marks. ano kaya maganda na pang alis? thanks in advance!

Almost all waxes need to haze, the question is how long the wait should be. It depends on how thin or thick you've applied the wax. Most people use 2-5x more than necessary making the product extremely hard to remove.
You got swirlmarks AFTER you waxed?
Something is wrong here... Need more info.

November 18th, 2004 02:08 PM #70thanks theveed! but isnt soap bad fot the car finish specially when you rinse and it goes to the hard to reach areas? how about kerosene? or maybe re-apply the wax and wipe it off before it dries? were afraid to experiment as it may make the problem worse.
Somewhat expected from a rushed car from a first time carmaker
