To remove wax from plastic moldings, wipe with rubbing alcohol solution.

Fill a spray bottle with one part rubbing alcohol (e.g. Green Cross, or any brand you prefer) and two parts water. Spray the alcohol and water mixture on the plastic molding. Allow the alcohol mixture to soak in for about thirty minutes. This will soften the wax and make it easier to wipe away. Wipe the plastic molding with a clean towel until the molding is free of wax. Repeat the process to remove stubborn wax spots from the plastic.
