share ko lang nag pa pdr ako kay sir roy knina, hinde magnet at hinde vacuum gamit niya, wala damage sa paint at pulido gumawa, since tga bulacan ako at nasa pampanga siya ng weekends nag meet na lang kame sa sta.rita exit nlex, 2k singil niya saken tinawaran ko 1.5k since 1.5k lang dala ko hehehe ok lang naman sa kanya, mga 8 na dent/ pimple yun na repair niya.

yung dent pwedeng magawa ng PDR pero yung scratch ay wala silang magagawa dyan. suggest to get your suking pintor na lang to perform all the job

Hi Guys,

I just got my car last week and I'm also a newbie driver. Earlier today may truck na bigla na lang umurong tapos na tamaan yung left side ng car ko. Hindi ko na nahabol at hindi ko rin nakita yung plate number ng driver.


I got like a four inches dent on my car. I just want to ask kung anong mas better na gawin with this..

Do I call the insurance?

Do I just have it fixed at the dealer's repair shop

Or do I just look for other repair shops.


Can't talk my car agent since weekend ngayon. I was looking online and I saw na may "participation fee" pa daw na kailangan bayaran which is at least 3k ata kung sa insurance ko idaan to. Is this right?

As much as possible gusto ko lang sana maka less ng gastos.

yes may participation pero depende yun sa insurance mo.

i suggest pa-pdr mo na lang yan, on the spot pa gagawin yan. unlike sa insurance, hingan ka pa ng requirements like police report/ affidavit etc. tapos baka pa-iwan pa car mo.

I think hindi naman nagasgas yung paint kaya yan ng PDR.

Prepare an affidavit stating what happened.

Bring your car to casa for repair estimate and get repair quotation.

Take photos of the damaged portion.

Submit the above documents to your insurance company or to the insurance broker if you have one.

The casa and insurance company will talk and thereafter advise you on the repair (whether insurer accepted casa's quote, when you can bring car for repairs).

The participation is the portion of the cost of repairs you will shoulder. The idea is that the owner is also a bit at fault and the insurer does not insure all risks.

Punta ka sa 387 auto center sa may buendia before mag-flyover ng edsa/bgc. No experience with them yet pero nakita ko na yung mga trabaho nila. Pero the best na ipatingin mo muna sakanila kasi i think may pila sila palagi.

Baka hindi na kailangan ng PDR yan.
Na try mo na bang i loosen yung screw doon sa first picture? Loosening it might allow you to realign the bumper to its correct position.

sir parang plastic nga, ano ba method para maibalik sa dati ung plastic dent? pag pdr ba nagaayos din sila ng ganyan???

Based on the picture, mukhang na misalign lang yung plastic.
Di ko sigurado kung yung turnilyo doon sa wheel well ay related doon sa bumper.
Kung sakaling parte nga yung turnilyo na yon sa pag fasten nung bumper sa fender mo, subukan mong luwagan ng konti.
It should loosen the bumper and allow you to re-align.
Tapos sikipan mo muli.

You have to act fast! Check mo kaagad.
Kasi the longer you allow the plastic bumper to remain in its deformed state, there is a chance that it will stay deformed.

mga sir magkano po kaya gagastusin ko para dito? nagasgasang kung kotse and sa saturday ipapa repair ko siya need ng repaint. thanks greenhills kami mag kiktia ng nagasgasan kung kotse...yung kotse ko na repair na i paid for 1.5k kasama na yung repaint at mga hidden dents na pinakta ng mikaniko sa amin. kaya lang malayo sa greenhills ayaw ng nagasgasan ko punta sa amin para dito nalang i pa repair...meron po ba mura sa san juan for this kind of scratch?

Sa plastic lang nga. Try mo na lang luwagan yung screw then "hilot-hilutin" mo ng kamay mo baka makuha.

that's not a dent. that's a very deep sideswipe.
pdr is useless here.
what you need is a pintor.
and if my guess is correct, that's part of the bumper and therefore is plastic. you don't have to do it at once. wala namang kakalawangin, e.. just your pride.
idamay mo na rin yung sheet metal na nagalusan din..
