Please take careful note of the question,- "Which one is worse?..... Parking under a tree or under the sun?"....

Well, revisiting the question. Mas kaya kong tiisin yung ketongin na car paint kesa faded and chipped.
Vote goes to the parking under the sun as worse.

parking under the tree especially yung may mga dagta is really a PITA. the bird poo is just a minor nuisance compared to dagta.
but if i were to choose the lesser evil, ill take parking under the tree anytime. dito sa harap nang office namin, paunahan dun sa spot kung saan may mga puno.

double whammy kasi pag under the sun. Faded paint, crispy interior, yellowish head lamps and add the smell of cooked dirt inside.

pag under the tree dull paint lang ang makukuha mo. pa wax ka na lang every week to protect the paint

Parking under the sun may also damage the car interiors

I am still unhappy with my car's paint It's hard to make silver or grey shine.

BTT: Sun is worse. I will still park under the tree unless the tree is extremely sappy. Hindi mabilis kumapit dumi pag regularly detailed.

If under the sun po ang choice mo, park yung dashboard against direct sunlight, use sun shades sa lahat ng bintana when parked, use a tint with high heat rejection (pricey nga lang), buy a window visor if you have none, and lower the windows slightly para pwedeng lumabas ang ibang init.

For me, under the sun ang worse.

Not to mention adverse effects sa rubber and plastic parts.

Dun na lang sa ilalim ng puno. Punasan mo na lang pag uwi mo yung mga bird poop. QD lang pwede na.

Lalo ba dahil bkack ang car ko, I always look for some shade to park. Mas mainit ang loob by a few degrees compared to a white car according to a study I read.

Medyo rare pero parking under a tree can sometimes cause damage due to falling branches, but given the choices I'd still choose under the tree.

Gusto ko nga try yung open the window slightly kasi wala bubong ang parking ko sa bahay and nakatambay lang car ko dahil sa NPNT policy, pero wala kasi ko rainguard pa, baka umulan bigla sa hapon e nasa office ako.

thanks for the replies. looks like parking under the tree is the better option. thankfully, the tree i park under is not a fruit-bearing tree. it's the birds that make my life miserable. they never fail to relieve themselves when they get there.
