been in megamall last weekend then on my way up to the parking lot sa taas may kumakaway na wash boy ito yung mobile carwash boy na mahal maningil sa simpleng carwash. so yun nga ingnore ko kc bagong linis naman yung auto bakit pa nya kami tatawagin? so nag park kmi agad then immediately pasok agad sa mall para makarami. pag balik namin nakita ko ulit yung carwash boy na tumawag sa kin kani-kanina lang na may nililinis na sasakyan sa tabi ko and guess what, ginawa pang tuntungan ng paa nya yung gulong ng auto ko para makasampa at mapunasan yung ford explorer na katabi ko. tsk tsk tsk. sinaway ko sabay tawag ng guard. well, alam ko wala rin namang kapupuntahan reklamo ko and late na rin naman,so check ko na lang kung nagasgasan ako ng mokong nung nakita kong wala naman umuwi na kami ng anak at asawa ko. another thing is medyo takaw gasgas auto yung mobile carwash nila yung iba kc pilit sinisingit in between ng mga sasakyan para malapit sa nililinisan nila.

ganun talaga sila. they dont care as much as we do. be it, di kasi sila nakakaintindi ng "car care." mostly ngayon pag tinanggihan mo pa eh babawian ka patalikod. sana tinuloy mo ang reklamo. tigas muka ng mga ganun eh

Never ever have your car cleaned by them. Why? They use rubbing compound!!! Have you seen their stash ng panglinis?? Turtlewax rubbing compound yung nakita ko last time.

yup. danger in many ways like they could also be the thief pero di naman sa nagbibintang kc for me dapat walang tao aaligid aligid sa mga parking lots except the roaming guards. so kung may iba pang aaligid aligid dyan medyo suspected car thief na yan. and they can even scracth your car sa mga mobile carts nila. and kung ayaw mong magpalinis kc nga malinis na yung car mo pag balik mo makikita mo yung katabi mo malinis kc nilinis na nila at yung auto mo naman nabasa at puro finger prints at mga marka ng pawis ng carwash boy kc ginawang sandalan habang nilillinis yung katabi mong auto.

Bro, rubbing compound is like a very fine sandpaper only in a compound form. It is abrasive. Would you like these guys to use abrasive materials on your car without your supervision? I don't think they also wash the car first, do they? If not then that's worse - the dirt will act as grittier sand paper and make so many scratches!

This issue should best be brought up to the management of the establishment. Could this be an extension of their services in the parking area? It's not a profitable venture, heard some stories of the carwash guys begging for business as very few avail of their service..

    SM malls.

Pag yung katabi mong auto nag pa carwash, sigurado matitilamsikan
yung car mo, buti king pupunasan nila, kaso hahayaan lang nila
kaya pagnatuyo nagkaka-stain yung car mo.

What SM management should do is to designate a certain area
of the carpark for these carwash activities. After all, the main
reason you go to the malls is to shop, see a movie, or dine out.

When I want my car cleaned I go to a real carwash. For those
who seek "convenience" by "multi-tasking" (shopping na, carwash pa!)

That's why you should pick your parking slots carefully. Whenever I go to a place that is rife with those green&blue-clad car killers, I try to find a spot that has the least number of "neighbors" -- usually next to a post or adjacent to a wall. That way, you lessen the chance of their pushcart and water-wands hitting your car. Lessen lang ha.. hindi eliminate.

One time, in market market.... from the time I paid my parking ticket, meron nang green&blue boy na pinag-initan yung kotse ko. He followed me and tried to help find me a spot. I didn't want to park at the first level --- may favorite spot na ako sa basement. So I ignored him and went straight to the basement. ABA! Nag sprint siya and followed my car. I parked in the isolated spot doon sa aisle nearest the grocery entrance. 10 seconds later... he was there already helping me to park. THen he popped the 500php question ser carwash? I politely declined. POLITELY. Ayun.. he smiled pero yumuko and he dragged his body away. Takot tuloy ako. When he was out of sight, I moved my car someplace else...baka pag-initan pa ako. BTW, at that time, I just did a 2-step on my car (black). It was so clean.

I think its just right to give them a chance to earn a living,

    Yung may ari ang puntiryahan

On top of that naman they should know their responsibility, pero sa case nila which for sure, not knowing the feeling of having their own car talagang hindi mo ieexpect na maging pareho ang attitude nila towards a vehicle. On our part maybe we should talk to them nicely Ive actually done that. I just dont know kung pumasok sa utak nya. hehehehehe

(On the side, ganyan ang katwiran ng mga PUV driver, d bale ng tarantado sa kalsada basta hinid naman daw nagnanakaw.) BS i must say. Grrrrr!!!

It's not only the car wash at sm megamall, but all mobile carwashes. They're priced quite high, compared to outside car washes, and that's for such little water used. I tried it once, but after that, never did again.

oh well... trabaho lang naman nila yun... can't really blame them for trying.
