Mall Carwashes

Well, don't expect any help from a guard... Best is to inform the management of the car wash service and even give them feedback that their practices arent exactly good from a car enthusiast point of view. If there's no help, try writing a letter to our local publications/motoring sections as if they get published, the motring public will become aware on that (since a lot just don't know).

From my experience, so far a friendly smile accompanied with a "no thanks" usually gets them to leave my car alone (*fingers crossed*). Natatawa nga ako when they offer to wax para kumintab and i just waxed the car earlier in the day. :P

Pero, they should not be scattered all around the parking area where they can harass potential customers and screw up their parking. Instead, they should be stationed in the parking office. Tapos, when a customer asks for car cleaning, doon lang sila ide-deploy ng parking management.

pwede rin, pero sana may designated parking slot na don lang sila pwede mag linis para aware ung mga katabi nila. ang hirap kasi minsan matatalsikan ng tubig at sabon ung kotse mo.

I think this is the most reasonable idea. The fact na baka mabitawan din nila yung kariton nila sa downhill ramp. Sa ganitong systema Safe sila at ang mga kotse.


Pero hard selling nga sila so baka hindi din pumayag ang mga may ari ng mobile carwash.

Gaano kalalim yung gasgas doon sa plastic casing ng side mirror mo? Can you feel it with your fingernails? Kung hindi mo makapa sa kuko mo, malamang hindi malalim yon. You can clean the scratch and it will become barely noticable.
Bili ka lang ng pampolish ng plastic (as of the moment, all I can think of is PlastX).

IF the scratch is deep, then you can still buff out the edges of the scratch to lessen the appearance of the scratch. But unfortunately, you'll still see it.

Ingat lang when using PlastX, if your plastic casing has a satin or matte finish. If you polish too hard, you'll end up with a shiny spot that will not match your satin or matte finish.

Totoo sobrang mahal (P145) body wash lang yun at di maayos kase madilim sa car park...

Ang intindi ko these car wash boys are lookout for carnappers ewan ko kung totoo yun...kasama sila na katulong sa pagbantay ng cars...

on another note:

Saan maganda magpa carwash sa bandang Chino Roces / Makati / D Fort area...bago kase ako sa lugar na yan at I like my car really clean...Yung professional ba ang gawa...

di ko na ni report kc magpapagod lang ako dyan wala namang gagawin aksyon ang sm management dyan kc tenant nila yan eh( isa sa mga source of income ng sm prime holdings). vigilance na lang at mapanuri sa pagpili ng parking ang solusyon ko sa ngayon.

Pumarada ka na lang doon sa mga lugar na siguradong konti yung katabi (sa tabi ng poste...) Ako, pag pumupunta sa Megamall, sa Podium na lang pumaparada. Madaming solo-slots doon na siguradong safe sa tilamsik ng carwash boys. (Kung matilamsikan ka doon, siguradong sinasadya na nila... )

not only that, if you want to have a full wash sa kanila, you have to give them your keys. that really puzzles me. why do we need to give them our keys if we avail their full wash? it doesnt make any sense at all.
