well, at the end of the day, it's the blade that'll be doing the work, so if you're not "barumbado" gumamit, I see no difference.

I use the original California Water Blade (made in usa) which I notice it makes lots of loud streaking noise when being used on the body (on the glass its quiet). I dont know if this would affect the paint surface......

Concorde greenhills is selling water blades... it's not the California brand. They're retailing it for P1,200. I just dunno if this is better or not.

Thanks THEVEED, you can also order from BIGBERTS.

We got word that someone is selling or will sell imitation California Car duster or water blade . Please check before buying to assure Authenticity. Dont settle for anything less than the original California Car Duster and or water blade, might scratch up your RIDE(s).

i have the water blade and i dont remember hearing squeaks during use (i dont have wax on the cars, but acrylic based seal klasse). that sounds like friction, and bad for the paint right?

meron bang user ng water and jelly blade? is the jelly design besides flexibility better? feedback please

I have to wash the car everyday bec it rains everyday, sometimes twice pa nga during weekends. The Water Blade is so effective in fact it should be one of the most important arsenal an OC should carry in his car trunk especially in this tropical weather. It glides well especially on a well waxed car and it eliminates 95% of H2O from most surfaces. The squeeking or streaking sound happens only when there's little water left, or if there's water then there's little wax left, or simply because the blade is not used properly. I see it most effective when I bend the blade's T-bar edge almost parallel to the surface and just follow along the contour. The more curvaceous, the more I put pressure through the handle. It bends easily with minimal pressure, and it doesn't scratch at all unless the edge has a damage to it. When it pours heavily outside I do a quick whisking at the Mall parking lot and then dry it off with a waffle microfibre, all of this done under 5 minutes. Talk about OC behaviour . Yes there were curious eyes wondering how weird I may have looked, but my point is the blade is highly recommended when you want a quick drying method, beside the water sheeting exercise of course. Most efffective to pair it with the microfibre drying towel. Cheers.

Are you guys 100% sure that the jelly/water blades doesn't cause any paint damage if used properly?

The tool itself won't, just like MF towels, washmitts, etc... not being careful using it could induce paint damage, as with anything else.

The only thing that won't damage paint is to not touch it or expose to UV anyway.

Ah ok thanks... I guess I'll stick with my chamois using the slow drying technique (patong chamois, pull it out, repeat)... medyo konti na lang din naman yung tubig when used with your recommended water flow technique. :ahppy:

Kailagan mo pa rin kasing i-follow-up ng chamois o MF. I dont think chamois is slow at all pero syempre iwan sa jelly/water blade.

Pero parang delikado sa Mall(labas) kasi bago nabasa yan panay alikabok yan. So scratch yan.

Mas masama pa ang watermark kapag after shampoo na hindi tinuyo kesa dulot ng araw after a rain sa panahon naun.

Jelly or Water Blades????
