kung liquid at least 1 peso coin ang patak per panel using a foam pad (eg: doors n fender)

the secret to uniform wax/sealant application is to make sure that your paint is squeaky clean and smooth before starting. Any imperfect surface caused by surface contaminants will contribute to wastage and coverage problems.
in most cases, liquid products require no more than a 1 peso drop (like what Farooq said) for half a hood... So figure to finish the car with less than 15-20 drops of product...
with paste, you'll even use less... approximately 2 teaspoon is all it takes to wax an entire car.
we're assuming a typical civic/corolla/lancer type sized car.
with liquid sealants, expect to use about around 1-2 ounces for the whole car.

December 19th, 2002 01:08 PM #4I use small dots kasi when I wax the car, cleaner or carnauba, both liquid.
I'll try that piso drop next time I wax.

the more residue, the more chances that those residue act like mini sand granules that scratch your paint...
it also stains rubber moldings and other porous surfaces...
lastly, it's like opening your bottle of wax and pouring out half of it down the drain if you use too much...

January 2nd, 2003 04:57 PM #8by itself, no, it's not "bad", but if you realize some facts and unavoidable consequences, then you'll realize why it's not only impractical to use too much, but also counterproductive.

kahit girl ka, very satisfying pag ikaw mismo gumawa...
What about adding a DSP instead?
