Yep! Your right!
But I already got one?
Thanks for the reply though?
What I meant was on the technical side of things?
Like what you put on the exterior of the car, like wax and stuff?
Those type?
What duster do you use and whats the recommended process for doing such?
Thanks!

Sir just buy a car duster like Microtex, meron sa Ace hardware. Ako after I used my car and hindi naman umulan madali lang matanggal ang dust using car duster then apply QD before I put car cover then next day ready na ulit gamitin, once a week lang ako mag car wash. I also use carnauba wax once a month then QD lang in between waxing. Hope this help.
Pag meron hamog, syempre yung accumulated dust is didikit dun as soon it starts to dry up. Sa akin ang ginagawa ko na lang is let it dry up na lang, and carwash na lang option ko uli.
*UrD3mize: i agree with thx777 with his procedure in maintaining his car, Microtex Duster and then some QD, it doesn't need to be the expensive ones just those that have and provide enough lubrication to lift off the dirt and remove them without inducing scratches and swirls, this is a very effective and safe way of maintaining a car.
I also agree with scharnhorst that dusts are easier to remove with waxed and sealed cars. There are some instances with waxes having static properties and in some cases its the method people apply waxes that causes the static properties like buffing off the wax when its too dry. In either cases static properties attract dirt and there are some waxes and sealants that have anti static properties one of the them available locally is Carlack68 the others you have to order online.
*Antz-z: you can't do much about this but just let it dry, you could wipe the roof with QD and MF cloth but if the source is caused by the morning weather then it would be pointless to wipe it if it would just come back, you could wait until it no longer progresses and then wipe it dry with QD.
*restituto: QD is short for Quick Detailer.
Guys, help please. Sorry kung medyo out of the main topic.
Sa labas lang kasi nakapark yung car namin & every morning nababasa yung one side ng sasakyan kapag nagdidilig yung kapitbahay namin. I'm planning to wax our car soon. What can you suggest para di matanggal yung wax? Makakatulong ba kung mataas yung water beading property nung wax? What wax can you suggest?
Thanks!
you can try un pure carnauba wax nang mothers (which you apply by hand), for ultimate protection and gloss depth. pag press for time, use mothers instant detailer or spray wax (california gold, FX or reflections), this is the easy way to add gloss and protection.
in my case, spray wax and instant detailer i use almost daily. hand applied pure carnauba wax i use monthly.
you will also see sa mga shops meron un cleaner wax. nun newbie ako ito un recommended nang sales rep sa isang shop, magaling daw maglinis and may wax na at the same time, so binili ko and ginamit... un pala meron mild polish ito, na when you use it regularly uubusin nya unti unti un clear coat mo... loko un sales rep (kidding). you don't have to get this muna...
i use mothers products, satisfied naman ako. price nang mothers medyo mura sa meguires, kaya tama lang sa budget. pero will also try meguires products someday...
mabilis ma strip un wax sa auto, lalo na if you use dishwater soap or tide when cleaning your car. dati ginagawa ko ito sa white van namin when i didn't know any better... i've also read pag gumamit ka nang chamois cloth when wiping your car after washing, nag aalis din sya nang wax.
kaya now when washing my car, hose water and microfibre cloth lang gamit ko. then MF cloth ulit when wiping to dry. then re apply the wax, either by hand or spray wax.
hope this helps![]()
That helps manny31671!
Where did you buy Mothers?
I'm planning to buy the following, do you know how much is their price:
1. Mothers California Gold car wash
2. Mothers Natural Formula Pure Carnauba wax
3. Mothers Showtime instant detailer
By the way, silver yung sasakyan namin. Effective kaya yung 3-step process wax ng Mothers?
Do you have an idea which is more effective, Mothers or Meguiars?
Thanks!
I'm a fan of cleaner waxes. They're a very valued part of my detailing regimen. So I'd humbly submit my 2 cents, so to speak.
IMO, when it comes to detailing the paint, there are a number of factors that come into play para masabi na "nakakaubos" ng paint ang isang product or process. You'd have to factor:
- the product itself (does it function like an aggressive polish or compound?)
- the pad or material used in applying the product (was a coarse pad used?)
- the method used in applying the product (was a rotary or machine polisher used? and was excessive pressure used in applying the product?)
I'd venture to say that when the above factors are not present, cleaner waxes applied regularly, although gently, by hand, and with a soft foam applicator pad, would hardly make any noticeable or alarming decrease in the thickness of the paint.
Hope this helps.

*ArrJay0712: use a non detergent based gentle car shampoo so washing will not remove waxes. Any of the big car companies shampoos are good. Try to avoid thick shampoo since they usually indicate that it has a high salt content with is not good, but not all have high salts contents ok. Waxes with high water beading capabilities means less water on your car which equates to less damage on your paint. You could try Megs NXT.
*ArrJay0712:
1. around 700+
2. around 600+
3. i don't know since i get them by the gallons.
Mothers UWS 3 step is very effective in maintaining and cleaning your car, the megs is also not bad but if its silver, i would suggest you go with Mothers, but its better if you could replace the Step3 with Mothers FX, since its better for silver cars IMO
