With the persistent rains, be wary of parking your car under leaky concrete structures.

If the concrete isn't fully sealed, water can permeate and starts seeping into tiny cracks in concrete, bringing with it hard minerals like salts and calcium and appears as milky/chalky liquid.

That stuff is efflorescence and it's nasty on painted surfaces and glass. It's known to etch or damage clear coat and will stain glass.

These pictures aren't mine but if ever you're getting into a parking slot that has drip marks, look up. If you see white liquid coming out of the concrete, park elsewhere.

PPFs and ceramic coatings can potentially protect the paint, but not the glass windshields and windows.
