I don't use cleaning QDs on the Mazda2 - I always wash it with shampoo and water (the last coat of 476S lasted through 6-7 washes, and it was still alive when I put another layer on top of it!).

With the Ranger, around once a week. Rinseless wash dilution ng ONR

Both of them have road film. wah.

if mas kikintab pa, ano kaya ok na carnauba wax?yung mothers (step 3) or turtle wax nalang din?or may masuggest kayong iba?

the spray sealant wont adhere to the paint due to the oil in the waxes right? pls correct me if i am wrong It should be LLS, then spray sealant, then carnauba

    From OPT website

    http://www.optimumcarcare.com/owax.htm?li=4

Optimum Car Wax is the only spray car wax that provides the durability of a paste wax and long-lasting UV protection. A combination of high-grade Carnauba wax, sealant polymers and UV inhibitors forms a protective layer on the painted surface to protect the paint from sun damage and environmental elements for up to 5 months.

Hybrid ata siya eh. Sulit yung 1 gallon niya.

I DESPERATELY NEED A FREAKIN' SEALANT.

Hmm well there is but its not worth it anymore, if its a little dirty with grime as long as its grime and road film its ok, meaning if its something like an oil film then just leave it be, as long as there are no other grits that you can see and feel you should be safe, you see its really really hard to remove road grime, imagine, that would be like removing an invisible layer of tar or grease from your paint, so im quite sure no shampoo would be that strong to remove those except for decontamination systems which are also expensive, if i were you i would just leave it and don't bother with it, apply the wax, some waxes have solvents in them that might remove them in the process thats why your applicator pads turn black after some time, its not because you didn't wash your car properly its because it had road grime, and then lets say just wait for the quarterly or bi-annual pre-wax cleaning step, its a good practice to use cleaner waxes every other month and cleaner sealants quarterly and if you're layering multiple layers then you could also delay it to bi-annually

The active effort to remove road grime and these road films every time you accumulate them is honestly a bit pointless for me, even for us who detail cars, we don't usually bother that much with our cars with road grime, why? because you could get a thick layer of road grime even if it doesn't rain. If its rains however the water helps to act as a medium from the road and smoke to the paint thats why raining can really increase the amount of road grime on the paint, but even if its not raining, try following a bus for some time, or try to travel through Edsa for 4 hours, you should already collect enough road grime turn your applicator pad grey thats why we usually don't bother with it anymore just as long as its not gritty

Hmmm I don't know if its available there but Dynabrade works great, i saw our mentor use it its very light and strong although of course that comes with a price

Another thing you can consider is Flex3401 VRG its slightly better than a PC

PC comes in next and Griots come in last this is for the DA category

For the Rotary i haven't seen the popular brands at work like Dynabrade only saw the DA but for me Makita 9227c is one of the best when it comes to dealing with noise problems forget about the De-walt and BnD polisher, Festool and Flex also makes great rotary polishers but i would put them in the same category as 9227c in terms of noise

Thrice a week and sometimes i don't, all depends on the dust on the car and which LSP i used for the car, if its sealant with some OGE just duster will do hehe of course provided it doesn't rain, carnauba waxes however for me respond better with QD since there's usually a big difference if the LSP is carnauba wax
