eto naman ang aking simpleng detailing for my beloved car...

every sunday ng gabi ko ginagawa ang ritual ko mga 3 hours...

ganda boss! share nyo naman yung mga ginamit ninyo na products and steps

this is scary... if the paint has a lot of contaminants like rail/brake dust, rusting can eat through the clear coat like the photo below

simple lang yan baka magulat kyo sa steps and product na gamit ko...hehehe

carnauba
nano sliq

yan ang tip sa kin ng german kong friend na pag nakita mo sa super kintab ng 911 at m5 nya e para kang nananalamin hehehe. at tip nya dapat weekly daw gawin yan para di mawala ang mirror-like finish...

kailangan ko daw yan gawin weekly kasi alang bubong yung garahe ko e next year pa ko makapag pagawa ng new house na may garahe...

weekly para daw pang kontra sa contaminants...

yung Nanoglos walang carnauba diba? If so, ibig sabihin ba nun hindi ko pwedeng gamitin yung Nanoglos as LSP? or does it have synthetic ingredients or anything that makes it a good LSP as well? gusto ko sana gawing LSP yung Nanoglos kasi after niyan eh pagod na ko wala na kong lakas magapply ng 476s haha. How long kaya will it last kung gawin ko siyang LSP? 2 weeks to 1 month? same as other OTC LSPs or shorter? gusto ko lang malaman kung kailan ako dapat magwax ulit pag ginawa kong LSP ang Nanoglos if ever. Thanks!

The weather there must be nice for your waxes to last a LOT longer compared to us here in Manila. Napakarumi dito biruin mo ang Collinite 476S can last a year in US weather while here siguro jackpot na maka 1 month plus.

I guess waxes would last longer if one does not subject the vehicle to harsh environmental elements no matter where you are. California just happens to have more hot sunny days compared to eastern states (who also have to deal with a lot precipitation like hail, snow and rain). My only advantage is that we have a garage to house our cars.

Let the paint cure or breathe first for at least 30days. You can put paint shop safe glaze like 3M IHG.

If you seal new paint with wax or sealant, you'll find out later on that there will be tiny bubbles (paint pop) and dulling of the clear coat. I know because where I live, the paint shop automatically waxes their new paint jobs and virtually all of them had paint pop and looks dull after about a year. Still, the shop owner insists on his method because he says the wax gives shine and gloss and the paint popping and dulling is a result of poor maintenance (i.e. not applying wax). I had to show him pages of internet forum threads on the topic before he was convinced to not wax his paint jobs.

*rico_g - yung 3M meron silang wax for new paint yata. yung nasa sachet. safe yata yun for newly painted cars if i'm not mistaken. or 3M IHG as mentioned above. yung iba pa nga na nabasa ko ang suggestion 90 days after repaint bago iwax.

Idol, it cannot accept any other pad except the one that came with it. You will need to modify it to accept other pads. PM mo si idol Rico. He had his kp600 modified.

yup weekly daw dapat sabi ng german friend ko kasi nga e yung garage ko walang bubong kasi next year pa matapos yung new house and with bubong na yung garage at 2 kasya na SUV.

since walang bubong e open na open sa ulat at araw. kaya dapat daw weekly gawin.
