First off, CONGRATS sa pagpanlo mo ng BLADE! May isang boto ako diyan!
Ideally, kailangan matanggal yung rain water and the dirt that comes with it as soon as possible. Acidic kasi yung ulan, and the dirt baka mas kumapit pag natuyo. Hosing down ng malakas and then wiping off siguro ok na as primary prevention, pero ang risk mo lang diyan si micro scratching kasi puwedeng hindi matanggal lahat ng dirt by just hosing down.
What I do sometimes is use ONR lang na waterless wash dilution (1:62 yata yun). Naka timpla ako ng mga 1.5 L dun sa bote na spray gun (yung pang garden na nabibili sa ACE) and I spray the entire car with it kahit basa pa (although I wait awhile para medyo mabawasan yung tubig.) Then I use several MF to wipe it down, then dry if off with Elite. Magastos sa MF, pero no need for hosing down or use of soap. Then dry off with Elite lang.
So far, 1 1/2 months na fleetwax with occassional OCW and siguro once a week wash with soap, buhay pa beeding!
By the way, to help reduce the amount of water microtex Elite towel has to absorb, gumagamit ako ng chamois pang dampi sa large areas with water; hindi punas!

Why? You risk scratching kasi nga for sure, may duming maiiwan sa car, by wiping it dry you might end up catching the dirt in your MF and then scratch your paint.
